their patient within the community. In this, there is a high need to learn and educator future
healthcare professionals which require a good and effective health educator. In this, there are
many perspectives for learning that can help to deliver quality learning to their learners. There
are various theory and models which includes the planning to understand and enplaning health
behavior along with help in to guide the identification, implementation and development of
interventions. There are some philosophies of education which are teacher-centered, society-
centered philosophies and student-centered philosophies. These may include progressivism,
essentialism, perennials, social reconstructionist, constructivism, conservatism, existentialism
and humanism. These are effective and allow to provide better education to learners through
improving educator skills.
As a healthcare educator, it is crucial to improve and gain different skills along with the
knowledge to learners. As a health educator, there is a need to provide education to learners
which can be effective and allow them to follow the standard practices (Layzer, (2017)).
Social centered philosophies of education, reconstructionism refers to the perspective where
education means solving social problems. Behaviourism focuses on cultivating behavior that is
beneficial to society. These both are effective and allow to deliver quality education to their
learners that can be utilized and enable them to understand their responsibilities.
Student-centered philosophies of education include progressivism which has the focus on
developing a student moral compass that is effective and enables learners to get a better
education and focus on ethical practices. Humanism refers to fostering every student to their full
potential that is highly effective and enables learners to learn more that can allow enable them
for using their hard learning for better and improved practices (Burgh, (2018)).
Through using these philosophies as a health educator, there is the delivery of better
education and can achieve the goal to deliver better learning through improving skills and
education. Through applying the philosophy effectively, learners can get better learning and be
able to increase their learning as a professional.
Essentialism refers to the leading style of the current public education which allows teaching the
basic skills which can be implemented when it is needed within society over time. I believe that
there is a need for the learning for the health student that can help to deliver quality service in the
future through using their skills and knowledge. These philosophies are effective and allow to

philosophies effectively for implementing can allow improving skills and knowledge. Through

philosophies allow to improve the learning along with developing skills which are essential for
