Introduction
Numeracy is important in every sector to calculate several factors of that industry. Numeracy
is a combination of different methods of assembling data to come to a conclusion.
Information technology is now getting huge popularity in all the industries for being huge
advantageous in communication. It is becoming essential to circulate information within the
world and in different sectors. In the health and social care industry, it is very much important
to track the data and apply statistics to calculate the required data of the industry. In this
report different ways of calculation will be portrayed. It will provide a detailed understanding
of the statistical methods of the health and social care industry. Important statistical
calculation will be provided in this report for netter understanding of the entire process. This
report will be a detailed discussion of how the statistics work in an industry to provide the
important calculation along with the data of information technology and the calculation of
numeracy.

the three £50 notes he tendered. What was the price of each ticket?
Total amount of cash paid by Samuei

= £50 * 3
= £150
Amount of change
= £4.20
Sum of the ticket charge
= £ (150 – 4.20)
= £145.8
Per ticket charge
= £ (145.8/3)
= £48.6
