Introduction
The epidemiology is a study of distribution and determinants related with the health
and diseases within a human population which help in planning the health-related
care and services rationally, surveillance to be execute, prevention and control
program is to be implemented to cure the person’s risk for disease. The presentation
contains an explanation regarding the health determinants and its impact over the
development of disease.

Epidemiological concept
Epidemiology is a concept of population science which work toward underpinning
the improvement within health and care. It is consist of several patterns, trends,
frequency as well as causes of a particular disease. It uses the quantitative science
which identified the circumstances in which a disease actually occurs and also
involve the pathogenesis of disease for an individual as well as community.

Model of Epidemiological
Epidemiology uses models for explaining about the occurrence of a
particular disease and one among commonly used model is
epidemiological triangle. This model presents a view regarding the
occurrence of diseases by having a balance between three factors,
•Host
•Agent
•Environmental factor

Health determinants
The number of personal, economic, social and environmental factor which directly influence the
health condition of an individual are consider as the determinant of health. The common
determinants that are cause behind the health fall are mentioned below:

Impact of health determinants (lung cancer)
There are several determinants that are affecting the health of a person and develop lung
cancer. These factors includes smoking, alcohol consumption at workplace, secondhanded
smoke exposure, working with ceramic industry, involve in production of coal gasification
etc. These are the factors which are some of the common factors that are present in
surrounding of individuals which causes cancer.

Anatomy and physiology of lung cancer
Human lungs are two spongy organ on two side of heart which
while inhalation bring the air within lungs to pump it in form
of oxygen throughout body. With this flow it also bring smoke,
tobacco and other chemical within the body that creates lung
cancer which are of two type,
•Small cell lung cancer
•Non-Small cell lung cancer

Pathology for lung cancer
For performing the examination of cancer, a sample of tissue (Biopsy) is taken for
examination, where a physician send specimen to pathologist which is then
examined with macroscopic and microscopic process. This report provide
information about tissue appearance, state of disease, cellular make up.

Type of treatment
There are several ways through which the lung cancer can be treated such as,
Surgery: This includes an operation where a doctor cut out the cancer tissue from
the body.
Chemotherapy: This consist of providing a special medicinal treatment to the
patient in order to either shrink or kill the cancer.

 Targeted therapy: This make use of drugs for blocking the growth as well as
spreading the cancer cell.

so because it help in identifying those factors or health determinants that are letting a
virus to enter into the body and affect the health and well being of an individual. So,
by determining the factor which is causing a disease within particular body so it
become possible to develop a right plan for health care.
