This dissertation investigates the significance of incorporating health education into the school curriculum in the UAE, focusing on its impact on the quality of life of children and potential reduction in medical costs. The study combines a systematic review and qualitative research, including interviews, to assess the effectiveness of health education programs. It highlights the prevalence of health issues among children in the UAE, such as respiratory diseases and injuries, and argues that health education, including first aid techniques and infection control measures, can mitigate these problems. The research explores the background of health education implementation in schools globally and in the UAE, emphasizing the need for awareness and education to improve children's health outcomes and reduce related medical expenditures. Ultimately, the findings support the inclusion of comprehensive health education in schools to promote healthier lifestyles, improve well-being, and potentially decrease future healthcare costs.
