INTRODUCTION
Astra PLC is a small organization of UK which is specialized in vitamin and mineral based food
supplements (Altaleb, Altherwi, and Gravell, 2020). These supplements are taken by those
people who are aware and concerned about their health and fitness. Having these supplements
with the proper workout will help them in their goal of health and fitness. According to a study it
has been observed that the fitness of a body dependent 70% on the food diet plan and remaining
30% depends on the workout. The complete used in various types of vitamins and minerals based
food supplements which are not even known to anyone. This report contains a step of Astra PLC
to diversify its business by launching a new health and fitness app. Further, the report contains
the project proposal and success in order to create this fitness and health application.

Project Plan
A project plan is a plan which helps to provide direction to the team members to complete the
project and effective manner. To develop the required application management needs to follow
various steps which need to be previously planned by them. Firstly the management explore the
fitness market and decide what feature they want in the application to gain the competitive
advantage. There can be three types of features fitness and health application that are workout
and exercise application nutrition application and activity tracking application. Astra PLC wants
to launch an application which provides features to their customers of workout and exercise with
nutrition advices for their better health and fitness. Further the company will hire a team of
professionals which are responsible to develop the app in effective and efficient manner. The
company will decide at this stage that who they want to hire and what will be the required
qualification to be hired as an app developer in the organizations (Cull, and Attard, 2021).
Further company plant the testing process of the application with the stakeholders and process of
feedback with to be attained from them.

Scope of the project
The scope of this project is very wide and requires very essential activities to be taken place. In
order to complete the development of this application, it is essential for the project to identify the
scope of the project in efficient manner. The scope on the basis of various variables are given
below:
App design: App design is the first thing which helps to attract the customer towards the
application. A fitness application should be designed in such a manner that it provides a
motivation to the users to work out and follow a diet plan in effective manner.
Launch cost: Launching an application requires cost incurred by the company as launching of
the application should be in such a manner that it reach most of the customers. The organization
should prepare themselves in advance to have required cost which they plan to be incurred on
launching of the app (Kubíčková, and Hodžić, 2020).
Social media integration: To launch the app the company can take help of social media
marketing as it will help them to attain more users for the app. To achieve this the organization
requires social media integration which is essential for the project.
Testing of application: Testing of application is required to provide great experience to the
users and ascertain the technical issues which are faced by an application in advance.
Project Risk
There are various risk which are associated with the development and launch of this
application in the market which requires to be assess by the company in order to be prepared fir
the future uncertainty and prevent the organization from heavy losses in the market. The risk
which can arise in the near future are explained below:
Delays in app design: Any delay in in app designing some cost to the organization which needs
to be assessed and plant by the organization at the planning stage only. Ascertain at time of delay
in advance will help the organization to deal with the delay in effective manner.
Design and compatibility issues: As the project is technical in nature there are higher chances
of compatibility as well as design issues which can create a great risk to the application.

Cost overruns: It is not essential that the cost incurred in the project is exactly same to the cost
which are planned by the management. Overrun of cost can create a problem to the management
to handle the project in effective manner (Rhee, and Kim, 2020).
Project Success
The project is able to be successful because of the Planning capacity of the management as they
plant to develop the app and effective manner and analyze the risk which are associated with the
project and advanced which helps the organization to make themselves prepared regarding which
can be faced by the organization in the whole process of the development of the app. The project
is able to complete successfully and also it launched in the market in successful manner (Wang,
and Wang, 2021).
CONCLUSION
The above discussion helps to conclude that expanding the business through app is a
great idea step taken by Astra PLC. To take this step it is essential to have a good project
proposal and plan which helps to provide direction to the company to develop this application.
The project scope helps to develop an effective app and the project plan helps to assess the risk
which are associated with the project. This assessment helps in the success of the project.
