Response to Question 1: Volunteer experience
The volunteer program I was once involved with was accompanying elderly people
for addressing the concern of sociability, loneliness and depression. I was facilitating the
service by making people aware of the community service through promotional activities.
The experience was positive as it brought people from different communities and generation
together, from each generation, member could learn about different culture and social
practices. My experience could have been improved by application of the program on a large
scale other, if the program could have expanded internationally.
Response to Question 2: Involving volunteers in the program of fundraising
 Cause awareness: The most important way is to make the volunteers aware of the
reason for offering support and accompanying services to the elderly people (Tempel,
Seiler & Burlingame, 2016).
 Peer-to-peer fundraising campaign: Engaging volunteers by offering them a vital role
in the function of fundraising. This technique will allow the volunteers in
personalizing their own donation page for the community service program in their
social media accounts (Tempel, Seiler & Burlingame, 2016).
 Reward system: Through my experiences, I have learnt that one of the most effecting
way of involving volunteers in fundraising campaign is rewarding them with
memorable items, cause-based merchandise, t-shirts for reflecting the part of a
helping community (Tempel, Seiler & Burlingame, 2016).

Fundraising activities can incorporate volunteers by making the communities aware of the
cause and consequences. The volunteers can be attracted by offering a cause-based
merchandise that can reflect the feeling of a thoughtful community. The fundraising strategy
of involving younger volunteers can include the roles like:

 Thank you calls: Volunteers can make thank you calls after a thoughtful donation.
 Story tellers: Story telling can enable the awareness of the communities about the
needed help and can draw required attention (Tempel, Seiler & Burlingame, 2016).
 Online promotion: Utilizing online platform for spreading the information about the
community services (Tempel, Seiler & Burlingame, 2016).

Importance of data management are:
 Data management leads to minimized errors in functional areas of organization or
service offerings (Friedman et al., 2016).
 Data management keeps a track of gaps and data quality development needs
 Data management ensure cost effectiveness and effective outcome (Friedman et al.,
2016).
Consequence of poor data management:
 It reduces productivity (Friedman et al., 2016).
 It increase the risk of data loss (Friedman et al., 2016).
 It affects the outcome of an operational process (Friedman et al., 2016).
Response to Question 5: Impact of data management in proposals
 Data management strategy can secure the confidentiality of the extracted data for
proposal
 Data management will ensure a structured documentation of significant information
deduced for proposal for future references
 Data management can offer the provision of data ownership for proposals
 Data management can also help with the structuring of content in delivering of a
proposal

Response to Question 6: Ethical issues in data management strategy
Ethical issues in data management strategy:
 Breach of data confidentiality regarding funds and sources
 Undue settlements of volunteers with the donors in the risk of data privacy
 Adopting unacceptable techniques, commissions and increasing donation by
leveraging extracted data.
 Disclosing the personal information of the people in requirement of help.
 Disrespecting the mission by securing the data management practices for the service.
