INTRODUCTION
Background of the research paper
Today’s, the use of computer, mobile phone, and tablet have negative impact on the health
of people. There are different negative effects of the use of electronic devices such as
psychological problem, physical health impact, psychological isolation and many others (Liu,
Jianghong, 2019). All these have negative impact on the mental health of people who have to use
computer, mobile phone, and tablet in daily basis. In order to overcome this, local council has to
play an important role to increase awareness about its negative effects among people or societies.
Aim of the report
Main aim of this research paper is to identify ways that would be used by public health
campaign for preventing the health issues faced by people because of over use of computer,
mobile phone, and tablet.

FINDINGS
Main point 1
Psychological effects
The explosion of technology in recent years has led the people
to use electronic devices as integral part of their lives. Physical
activities within child promotes their mental health and ability
to deal with certain circumstances as well. As in childhood
locomotive skills of child helps them to learn crawl, walk and
play. Besides this in adolescence physical strength helps them
in gaining coordination and mental development opportunities
as well. In this manner studies shows that using of mobile will
degrade mental performance of child which can cause them
minimise their diet and physical strength as well (Liu,
Jianghong and et al., 2019). On the other hand, another
psychological impact over psychological health of using
excessive electronic device is lesser sleep constraints. Sleep is
one of the major need of the body which leads the body to
stimulate various hormones and secret enzymes in appropriate
manner. Due to these reason children are not able to develop
their social interactions which leads them to develop lesser
involvement in class.

Main point 2
Physical effects
Studies have shown that depression is the common
consequences faced by children due to excessive use of mobile
phones and electronic gadgets. There are many risks which are
involved within using of mobile devices in higher manner and
prominent in this is depressions and minimised physical
growth. This has been observed that in current time children
are prone to use prolonged electronic devices due to which they
minimise their interactions with people and various physical
activities. On the other hand, insomnia is another negative
impact over children which leads them to develop such reason
due to opportunities of physical growth can be eliminated.

RECOMMENDATIONS
From the above accumulated piece of information there are some recommendations that are
provided to public health campaign. Some of the recommendations are given below:
Public health campaign should focus on creating awareness among people who are
constantly using their mobile phones, computers and tablets. These campaigns should
collect data that covers every negative impact of mobile phones on health. By creating
awareness among users of electronic gadgets the campaign must provide information
about different diseases and discomfort that can be experienced by people due to over
use of such devices.
Public health campaign must work on providing basic meditation and exercises that
could be used by people for reducing the use of electronic devices and decrease the
negative impact on their eyes and health. The campaigns should offer time tables
according to the age group of people so that they can really understand the severity and
disadvantages of over using mobile phones and computers. These campaign should carry
out the disadvantages of electronic devices on health and focus on explaining them to
people.
Public health campaign must work on providing real life examples to people so that they
could really understand the seriousness of using tablets, mobile phones and health. The
public campaign must target parents of teenagers and adults to make them aware about
cons of such devices because they are the people who are constantly over using mobile
phones and tablets and these devices are developing depressive behaviour among them.
