Issue Statement
A lot of complaints have been raised in many social media and different workplaces
about the health cost and the unfairness of private health insurance. Since they promised to
provide free medical services in all public hospitals. Unfortunately, they require them to purchse
the medical products at an expensive price. (Russell, 2016). To make matters worse, as the
complaints rise their premiums also rise and their services keep on declining, causing
degradation and decline of their cover, therefore, the issues should be restored for the general
public to gain trust in them again.
Background and Discussion
The issue began when the insurance company began to lose its transparency in the
services provided since there was a worrying difference about what is covered in case of injury,
waiting periods of the approval to be treated, exclusion and unexpected out of pocket costs. All
these issues were elevated when the media highlighted the stories about the rejecting of clients
claims without a clear medical review (Garcia Tsao, Abraldes, Berzigotti,& Bosch, 2017). There

were some issues that were well known by the policy holders but they decided to be silent about
them thus making the Federal health minister to invite the complains as the issue caused the
general public to suffer a lot due to lack of finance to buy drugs and even being exploited.
The issue is critical locally and internationally as the Federal government always controls
how people choose health insurance products, making sure that they covered the patients to the
level of their expectations when they got to use them. It also set a parliamentary committee to
investigate the affordability of these insurances making them deliver excellent services
(Patterson et al., 2016). These are supported by many people claiming that coverage should meet
their needs while others oppose it claiming that insurance companies should also make a profit
like any company something which does not mandate they to exploit the public(Bowden, 2017).
Therefore the government has written to these companies encouraging them to listen to their
customer's questions about their value, cost, and honesty and to work together with doctors and
other stakeholders and due to their financial statue the company has not been able to resolve all
these that are being addressed making the issue to be ignored (Ross et al., 2016).
Option or Recommendation
Several options were put in place including that which required the insurance company to
handle the questions of their clients. And the government also offered to set up a parliamentary
committee to investigate the issue in place, and this was good since all the clients will be
addressed in their respective hospitals by the insurance agents and the government also will send
their representatives to handle the issues in various regions (Kirchhof et al., 2016). These may
take a lot of time, but the government will finally implement them since it has to put down the
plan of doing the program and even the finance in terms of transport for their agents (Garber et

al., 2016). The idea is supported by many individuals considering that it was used during the
flooding in the region and it worked well in reaching many people. All these made people to
strongly believe in the services offered to them by the government (Rhodes et al., 2017).
Even though the majority supports the issue, there came another suggestion that a sub-
team should be developed So that they can explore better options. Where they suggested that the
matter should be subdivided to even a smaller level of leadership such as village holders to
prevent the government from transporting people who don’t know the region well, therefore, this
option will be better since everyone will be reached and the people will be handled by those
whom they know (Haugen et al., 2016).
The option was considered to be the best since it will help in saving time and finance
which could have been used to transport the agent to the region, therefore, removing the risks of
the language barrier and letting other clients out (Gomollón et al., 2016). The issue was opposed
claiming that there will be favoritism, biasness and some people will not be free to express
themselves entirely to the people they know, but the option was implemented claiming that it
precedent was well during drought and the politicians also felt that their people complain will be
solved.
Implementation
For appropriate implementation, the government should ensure that the solution is in
black and white and each person understands its content and how it works. Then all the
stakeholder such as doctors, Managers, clients and all the citizen should put the solution in
practice to remove the complaints of clients and the issue of claiming that they did not know in
case of its violation.The implementation of this process is as follows; first, you have to have

proper planning and preparation in that you focus on the most complex actions required to solve
the issue which needs to ensure success (Funder et al., 2016). Then you construct a plan of
action, here you have to describe the effort necessary to implement the solution and ensure
success with good objectives in place then you have to apply the solution and monitor if its
functions appropriately.
The idea should be implemented immediately even though you have to give them a grace
period of one month for them to adapt to it. Then you monitor if the idea has work of the initial
complains or are they still there but if they are not the option is considered to be one of the
successful.
Communication
A good communication plan is needed to link the clients and the insurance so that they
can know to answer the questions and listen to their complaints thus providing them with
appropriate feedback. The media should also communicate essential messages such as how the
company can achieve its objectives? Factors affecting insurance clients? And how significant are
the insurance premiums to the public? This communication should always target all the citizens
to encourage them to be wise and have insurance cover (Catapano et al., 2016). At the same
time, it protects them from being exploited by these companies by charging them exorbitantly.
So that when they face such situations they can make a report, and immediate arrest is formed so
that we can restore equality and faith in the private health insurance sector thus making the
public to enjoy all the benefit they are mandated to possess.
Moreover, any form of good communication plan should be able to be clearly understood
thereby leading to the achivement of quite a number of goals being met in real time and be able

to highlight some of the loopholes at an early stage appropriately. Various individuals and
organizations should come on board and be able to implement one of the best reasonable and
adequate communication plan that will ensure that multiple objectives are met within the
stipulated time. Finally, a good communication plan should offer guidance on what should be
done and what should be avoided.
