This report investigates the level of health insurance awareness among insured individuals in Saudi Arabia, particularly in the Northern Border Region. It explores the significance of healthcare awareness, the goals and objectives of the study, and the hypotheses tested, including the relationship between gender, income, education, and insurance ownership with healthcare awareness. The study reviews the healthcare system in Saudi Arabia, the roles of the Ministry of Health (MOH) and the Council of Cooperative Health Insurance (CCHI), and the healthcare service divisions. The report also examines the healthcare facilities, funding, and the evolution of health insurance policies in the kingdom. The methodology includes research design, participants, sampling procedure, instrument, data collection, and limitations. The study aims to increase awareness of healthcare insurance coverage among Saudi citizens, addressing challenges in understanding policies and out-of-pocket expenses. This study aims to assess the insured population's awareness concerning healthcare insurance coverage, offering a comprehensive analysis of the factors influencing health insurance awareness in Saudi Arabia.
