Heath promotion is a process of enabling people to increasing control over and to improve their
health. It is a behavioural social science that draws from the biological, psychological, environmental
and medical science to promote health (Aarthun, Øymar & Akerjordet, (2019)). This is used in the
development of individual, group and community to improve health knowledge, attitude, behaviour
as well as skills. It is positively influence the health behaviour and lining & working condition of the
communities. The poster is based on one of the Children's Headline Indicators such as safety and the
target audience are mainly an early year 1-5 age group of children (Goodyear-Smith & Ashton,
(2019)).
HEALTH PROMOTION PRINCIPLES
Health promotion is developing the five health promotion principles which are includes strengthen
community action, create supportive environments, develops personal skills, build healthy public
policies as well as reorient health services.
Create supportive environments: According to this principle, these are providing the safe and
secure social as well as physical environments to the child in early childhood. These help in the
improving the living conditions of the children by increasing safety & equity and improving the
health services as well as facilities (Bhavnani et. al., (2021)). The local communities can create a
healthy environment for the children by providing them parks for playing, health facilities as
well as other safe areas for early childcare. There are variety of settings including health
promoting hospitals, health promoting care centres and schools. These are enhancing behaviours
to support health education and provide healthy food options to the children (Githae & Opara,
(2019)).
Build healthy public policies: Health promotion policies are combines diverse but
complementary approaches including legislation, taxation and farcical change. These are the
coordinated action that lead to health and social policies that foster greater equity to children.
These are providing the healthier and safe services and enjoyable environment to the children.
These are associated with the development of the health related policies for providing the safe
environment to the children. These are increasing the awareness for support their health related
work for children. The government of the Australia is responsible for providing equity as well as
diversity that ensure that every child has access to health care. The government is also creating
supportive environment for improving the quality of life of the children (Macnab, (2022)).

early intervention as well as implementing programmes. This is also associated with the protecting the
health and safety of the children. These are offer healthy food as well as drinks to the children. These
are also associated with the creating a safe space for children and encourage creativity of the children

Cultural sensitivity cultural safety: The cultural sensitivity & cultural safety is explaining the ability
to be responsive for the development of attitude and circumstances of children that share a common &
distinctive racial, religious and cultural heritage with children. It is also associated with the
implementing health care centre policies that culturally diverse children to identify as in indicators of
respect for their culture and enable these children to feel comfortable with trusting of as well as
respect their educators and care providers. It designed to assist health services providers reflects upon
their own cultural identity as well as recognise impact of their personal cultural (Malla et. al., (2019))
It has been find out that establishing safe and healthy behaviour to improve quality of life eliminate
health disparities and improve the availability of healthcare as well as related services. It has been
recommended that there is need to enhance the nutrition, integrate physical activity into child's daily
event as well as provide adequate housing for safety of children (Plamondon et. al., (2019)).
From the above discussion, it has been concluded that health promotion supports government,
individual as well as communities to cope with and address health challenges. The healthcare
program for safety of children is assist in the promote healthy behaviour and make changes that
reduce the risk of disease and other morbidity. Health promotion principles are supports personal
and social development by providing education for health and increasing life skills. The primary
health care principles are enables health system to support a person's health needs from health
promotion to disease treatment and prevention.

Health inequalities are differences in health status or in distribution of health resources between
different population and different groups within society. There is high level of inequalities cause the
negative impact on the health promotion programs. It is reducing the cohesion, a dynamic that lead
more stress, fear and insecurity for everyone. Health inequalities reduce by act across a range of
public policy area with policies to tackle social and economic inequalities (Leuenberger et. al.,
(2019)). Equity is referring to as approaches that ensures that everyone has access to the same
opportunities. A human rights-based approach be adopted through the access as well as equity
strategies process that acknowledge the importance of the significance of the principle of non-
discrimination, equality as well as participation. The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children
also considered as part of the whole government approach to the access and equity (Pearce et. al.,
(2019)).
