Educating wider population of UK in terms of Obesity
1. Purpose of campaign
The health promotion campaign would be designed to educate specified
sector of population as this would be including that related to Obesity within
people of UK. As this is very much prominent problem or issue which is been
faced by people of UK in current times majority of population is under
obesity. So this campaign would be aiming at Obesity Action Campaign:
Educating families about obesity and its outcomes.
Educating mothers about how important it is to have healthy food prior to
giving birth or feeding child.
2. Creation of need assessment strategy.
Training need to be given to all volunteers who are to be included
within this campaign other that this promoting use of SIGN guidelines
Obesity in UK, Integrating prevention and Weight management.
Identification of factors which are to promote and impede use of SIGN
guidelines at primary care. As need assessment strategy would be form of
educational planning including technique which need to identify training
requirements and matching it with goal or purpose of campaign.
3. Creation of health promotion plan with SMART objectives.
Educating wider population of UK in terms of Obesity
In this regard and achievement of purpose of health promotion plan SMART objective
would be utilised.
Specific- the promotion plan is specified to achievement of educating wider population of
UK for Obesity.
Measurable- this would be educating at least 10 million British people in coming 2
months
Actionable- this would be done with help of NHS so it is actionable as well.
Realistic- in regard to educating people it could be good campaign so that they would be
able to promote health and problems related to obesity.
Timely- the campaign in association with NHS would be lasting till 2 months and
including 10 million people across Britain.
4. Measurement and evaluation process for campaign.
The evaluating or measurement process for campaign would be done
with help of number of people who linked with this campaign in last 2
months starting from 10 June to 10 August in UK. How many number of
people could be aware with help of this campaign and how many of them
included process within their day to day learning would be included as
evaluation process.
