heart disease (cdc.gov, 2020).
Thus, there is an urgent need for developing a health
promotion plan that aims at promoting and improving health
quality of the individuals in the community by implementing
appropriate strategies to reduce the prevalence of heart
diseases and other comorbidities.

Cardiovascular Diseases (CVDs) are a category of diseases involving
heart and blood vessels which include, acute coronary heart
syndrome (ACS), peripheral arterial disease, congenital heart disease,
cerebrovascular disease, rheumatic heart disease and deep vein
thrombosis and pulmonary embolism.
Strokes and heart attacks are acute complications caused as a result
of blockage preventing the blood from flowing to the brain or heart.

obesity.
