INTRODUCTION
The health promotion is refers to behaviour that has come up through environmental,
physical, biological, medical science and psychological. It helps in promoting the health of
individuals by developing changes within their behaviour by preventing disease with the help of
education. This essay is discussed on the health promotion services that are present within
country (Andrees and et. al., 2018). In addition to this, the search strategy is also develop with in
this report, in order to develop literature review on public health topic. Moreover, the other
points also discuss that help in developing appraisal and discussion of literature review.
BACKGROUND
The information literacy is defined as the set of abilities that helps in covering information
with the use of reflective. In addition to this, it also helps in understanding the production of
information and its values. This information can be used with the in community so that there
learning can be e increase by developing knowledge among them. Moreover, the participation of
information by ethically helps in developing the learning of individuals (Park, Reber and Chon,
2016). This is important for learners as it helps in solving and promoting various approaches and
problems by finding information through questions, answers, sources and contribution of
learners. This also provides the abilities from which allow direction to person so that they can
recognize where and how to use the information that make it effectively.
The evidence based public health is defined as implementation development and evaluation
of policies and programs within the system of public health. This occurs through the principles of
information and data that has been developed with the help of scientific reasoning. Including
this, the appropriate program and theory of behavior science are also used that help in changing
the behavior of individuals appropriately (Evans, Coutsaftiki and Fathers, 2017). This helps in
developing the principles of practices from which the effectiveness of programs and policies can
be evaluated from this. From this, the decision makers can properly invest effective solutions of
the problems that have come up within the public health. The managers and various internal
programs can be supported with the help of evidence based public health as they can make
policies and decision regarding the support of health of public.
The literature review is defined as the summary of research that has previously occurred on
a particular topic. It includes service sources, articles and books that are available within area of

research. The review of literature helps in determining nature of research by the author. It also
has been analyzing the gaps that are present within research and various conflicts that may occur
within previous research (Tishelman, 2018). There are different inconsistencies are also present
within research and various questions that are left but with the help of literature review is to
identify those areas so that proper aim of research can be conduct properly. The importance of
literature review is that it helps in describing the purpose of research with the use of proper
method. It also helps in in solving the problem that occurs within research. Within this the
different statistics are also used that help in proposing the methods appropriately. The topic of
literature review is important as health is necessary to be promoted within public health so that
the behavior of individuals can be changed that has in promotion of health.
SEARCH STRATEGY
In this, the PubMed database is used within the search strategy. This is a free search engine
that provides access to database of Medline which provides abstracts on the topics of biomedical
and life sciences. This help in analyzing the search from which proper content of research can be
develop.
The PICO fame work is defined as the process which is use as mnemonic with in evidence
based practice. It helps in identifying answers of questions that are developed within health or
clinical (Christodoulou and et. al., 2016). It also assists in developing various strategies of
literature review by providing systematic reviews of search. This stands for population, indicator,
comparison and outcome from which the element of study can be analyzed. With the help from
this framework the focused questions of clinical can appropriately answer. There are some
keywords used within this framework which are patient intervention control and outcome from
which the answer can be evaluated. The patient population describe problem that is occur within
clinical questions. For example within an article, the population is described as the occurrence of
health policies in order to change behavior of individual so that their health can be improved.
This also includes that there are various patients who are experiencing the use of substances such
as alcohol smoking and other within their services (Haynes, 2020). The intervention includes
strategies and treatments that are looking by clinical so that they can develop changes. As seen in
the article the clinical expertise wants to change behavior of individuals so that their health can
be improved by implementation of policy intervention within hospitals. The control and
comparison includes the providence of any medication in treatment to patient so that their

behavior can change appropriately. From this, the question about health experience of patient
with their services can appropriately determine. The outcome helps in determining the measures
effect and improvement within the services of patient. In the article the outcome of method is
occur as there are various people who are consuming alcohol, less consuming healthy nutrition
and they are other participants want to develop changes with their behavior so that they can
acquire health. With the help from PICO framework, the questions of education and promotion
of health within hospital can properly analyze. The Boolean operators is used within this article
is AND. This article is appropriate and relevant to the health promotion and public health as in
this article health is promoted within their services by identifying the views and experiences of
patients. The use of AND Boolean operators help in refining the phases appropriately as it helps
in identifying the differences between the views and experiences of patient. The limiters that are
used within this article are of 2020. This helps in focusing on the information that is derived
from the databases according to search.
SIMPLE APPRAISAL
The aim of this study is to promote the health among services by determining the views and
experiences of patients. In this literature review, the methodology that is used is qualitative in
which the questions are asked from patients about their experiences that occur from the services
by hospital. In this, the evaluation study is used which is access to under the success of any
something that occur within an organization. This includes various policies and programs that
occur within hospitals (Hubley and Copeman, 2018). From this study the outputs of process can
be properly measure that helps in analyzing the implementation of changes. This study can be
evaluated with the help of questions from which the trustworthy outcomes can be developed.
This study has been done within hospitals when they are providing services to patients. This
study applies on those patients who are experiencing the education of health regarding physical
activity, use of alcohol and others. Within the given article the participants were involved who
are hospitalized and experiencing the health education from service providers. There are
totally 322 participants are involved within the study or questionnaire method from which the
evaluation of research study could be conducted. The background characteristics of patient is
related to their education regarding health that how much they perceive risk factors from health
education or want to change it. They are also different age ethnicity and gender from which
appropriate data can be developed. In this, the semi structure interview was developed including

tools that help in designing the questionnaire. The screening activity was involved within the
research so that information can properly gather by analyzing the risk factors that are occur
within the health of individuals (Lupton, 2016). With the help of methods it has been findings
from discussion that there are majority of patients who were asked by their staff members about
their habits of using alcohol and smoke. The other patients are asked about their physical activity
and diet that they were taken within their services.
The patient proportion regarding risk factor and receiving health education is identified as
there is half of the patient who is receiving health education regarding smoke. From the
participant, there are half of patients who are receiving their physical activity and nutrition. From
this, there are not measured people who are receiving appropriately about their health education
as the 63 patients are reported are receiving risk factors from their services. The strength of this
study is that it helps in identifying the risk factors of health education that are receiving by
patients. From this the risk factors can appropriately identified. The strength of this is that it
helps in identifying the challenges that are faces by patients with their health education
(Tishelman and Lindqvist, 2016). The weakness of this is that the poor health education is
analyzed. The author identify that the value of this search is that it helps hospitals so that they
can improve their services among health promotion. From this, the healthcare professionals can
be aware about that the mostly patients are affected by health education that are provided within
their services.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it has been concluded that the use of scientific literature provides
encouragement and promotion to public health. As from this, the various actions can be
developed that help in improving health and well-being of a community. In addition to this, it
also helps in analyzing the risk factor that are present within the services of patients.
