The previous unit discussed various aspects related to the health and hazards related
to occupation. The section described the laws for the workers regarding their safety issues
and the organisational responsibilities to promote occupational safety. There are still many
workplace hazards encountered by the employees (Schwind et al., 2016). The injuries mainly
results from the injuries from various machineries and the electrocution events, which is very
unfortunate. It can be decided from the unit 8 learning that the organisational leaders and the
employers must focus on improving the health safety measures according to the guidelines in
order to prevent further instances of their employees.
Answer 2.
A stressful condition in a teaching industry can be resulting from excessive work
pressure. The stress was resulting from the fact that there was a huge amount of work to be
done within a short period of time, which seemed impossible. As the personal intervention to
control the situation, an individual should be assessing the actual situation first. They should
shift their focus on developing a proper plan for themselves to complete the work on time,
Along with that they should ask for help from their workplace colleagues to help them with
the workload. The employer should be attentive of their employees. They should notice if
someone is experiencing any mental pressure or burnout sessions, resulting from an increased
workload. The employers must be effective in displaying a proper delegation of duties, so a
single person does not experience an excessive workload (Tetrick & Winslow, 2015).
