INTRODUCTION
The health and the social care plays a very crucial and important role in the management
of various sort of operations in the society. The social well being helps the individual and the
group of people to take the suitable measures in order to gain a better productivity that helps in a
better share of market (Adler and et.al., 2015). For the report, we have taken Acacia care home
as health and social care (HSC) organisation of context. This organisation works in the better
development of the health and social care services in UK. This report focuses on the various
systems, policies and procedures for communicating the information of various legislative
measure with the priorities. The dilemmas encountered are been considered and are taken in
consideration for better understanding of effects of various measures on health and social care
(Blais, 2015).
TASK 1
a) Identify the systems, policies and procedures for communicating information with legislative
requirements.(1.1)
Various systems, policies and procedures are been used in the health and social care
centre for communication of the various legislative measures at the work place. This helps the
cited firm to identify and implement the suitable measures to develop a better health and safety
measures at the workplace (Carayon, 2015). Some major legislative measures that are been taken
into the consideration by the sub committee of senior management are:
Disability Act 2005: It is the legislative measure that is been taken into the consideration
by the cited firm in order top gain a better idea of the health and safety measures that are
been followed and implemented in order to provide better services to the general as well
as the public with disabilities.
Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974: This legislative measure will help the cited
firm to take the suitable measures to improve the quality of the work environment at the
workplace (Carpenter and et.al., 2017). This will ensure the better implementation of the
various safety measures at the workplace, thus causing the improvement in the working
conditions.
Based on this, various policies and procedures of Risk assessments are been taken into
the consideration by the organisation in order to implement better safety and health measures
such as adoption of various safety measures at workplace, improvement in the working

The cited firm will have the various sort of legal responsibilities that the firm has to carry
out in order to gain a better productivity and maintaining the health and safety measures in the
organisation (Glasby, 2017). These laws are been undertaken by the organisation in order to gain
a better share of the organisation to gain a better share of market and improve the quality of
services in the organisation. The legal responsibilities of the HSC under the Health and Safety at
Work etc Act 1974 are as follows:
To develop a safe and better health care services that helps the organisation to gain a
better productivity and profitability.
Reduce the risk factors that helps the organisation to gain a better work condition to
improve the work quality of the employee's in the organisation.
Identify the risk factors that can affect the overall functionality and profitability of the
company as well as the well being and safety of the employee's at the cited firm (Goh and
et.al., 2015).
To provide the employees with the suitable and appropriate health measures to improve
their work efficiency and well being.
Besides this, the employer firm has to make the regular checking of the various measures
