Corporate governance can be understood as the combination of processes, rules or laws
by which business organisations are operated, regulated or controlled. It plays a major role in
success of the business organisation (Kovermann and Velte, 2019). This report is based on Tesco
which is a British multinational groceries and general merchandise retailer headquartered in
England. In this report, there is discussion related to problem in corporate governance. The
importance of the issue is mentioned in this report. The methodology of doing the research is

As per Boland (2019) Health and safety constitutes important part of corporate
governance. Every company should assure that they maintain healthy working condition in the
organisation. They must take care about the health and safety of all the stakeholders that are
being involved in the business organisation. The employees work in the company and it is duty
of the management to assure that all of them are safe. As per Health and Safety Act, 1974 all the
business organisation must take proper care of the working staff at the place of work. Customers
are also important part of the company. It is important to take care about their health and safety
when they are inside the company. The company must not breach health and safety as it may
cause issues for them and may dimmish the brand image of their organisation.

and safety act and assures that all the stakeholders of the company are safe. The company aims at

method of data collection is used.

will e selected on random basis. The sample size will be 50.
