Health care homes provides their functions for protection of the health
of patients which are suffering from different disease. It is the duty of
the management is to take care about the health and safety of all
employees at workplace. In the present report explain about, legislative
requirements which is communicating information regarding health and
safety, responsibilities of care home regarding management of health
and safety.

Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
It is the main Act which is provide by parliament which
guides the employers whom are provides their functions
in UK regarding Health and safety. It brings an obligation
upon the employer to provide safe and working
environment at workplace for their employees which are
working in care homes.

Dilemmas: This is related to problems which provides two
unrelated possibilities, none of the such options is
unambiguously acceptable and preferable. This will have
large impact on the decision making. It is provided that
40% of the conflict situations arises in acre homes due to
unidentified dilemmas.

Impact of non compliance of Health and
Safety legislation
It is the duty of all the care homes which are provides their services in
UK that need to comply with different legislations which are provided
by government. Such different legislations which are required to
complied are name as Disability Discrimination Act 1995, Mental
Health Act 2007, Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, Management of
Health and Safety Regulations 1999 etc.

Personal effects
 Large number of Injuries: It is the obligation upon the
employer to implement such different acts which guides the
employees while providing their services. Non compliance
make the medical practitioners careless which arises
mistakes which is harmful for both patients and other co
workers.
 Health implications and fatalities: Health and Safety(First
Aid) Regulations 1981 is need to comply by all care homes.
Non compliance of this law means fault of care homes in
maintenance of effective equipments of first aid which is
used by employees on happening of injuries.

Professional effects
 Financial: Due to non compliance of legislations by White
chapel Residential Care Home effects their financial ability. This
will creates dissatisfaction among patients regarding their
services which has adverse impact on the number of patients.
This will reduce the business activities of care home and lowers
down their profitability.
 Legal: It is mandatory for the care homes which are working in
UK to comply with all such legislations. If such legislations are
not complied by White chapel Residential Care Home while
providing their services they have to bear legal fines and
imprisonment. Manager of care home can be imprisoned for 6
months for breach of health and safety laws.
