INTRODUCTION
Safety, security and health are three essential terms that requires to examined in Health &
social care. In the modern area, all persons are wants and needs security and safety for their
lives . So it is define as a government responsibility in order to take care entire employees who
are functioning or working in an enterprise. In this, they have to obligatory several kinds of
legislation about maintain individual health (Baum, 2016). This report is based on NHS which is
health and social care organisation. This assignment discussed about the harms and hazards that
rise in a HSC. It will also determined the procedures, policies and legislation as well as risk
assessment in a H&S settings. This study also identify the response and priorities which is vital
in dealing particular incidents.
TASK 1
P1 Potential hazards and the harm that may boost from each in a social and health care setting
There are certain kinds of hazards which are available in a H&S care settings. These are
determined under this:
Physical Environment: These are identified as an elements which are present in the
organisations. But without effective atmosphere that can rise as a case of harm to workers and
buyers (Explain potential hazards and the harm, 2017). There are certain hazards which includes
room temperature, noise pollutions and other things.
Equipments: In a H&S centre , it could includes of all things that rise as a case of
potentials injury to a setting or fixing that a people is in. For example: Nursery could give little
toys and other things which the children could put in their nose, ears as well as swallow it. This
is known as uncertainty to the kid because the baby could ingestion the toy which can block
child's airways.
Infections: There are certain kinds of infections which is available in a health care
setting. For examples: Regular use of particular injections that can generate different risks or
uncertainty for the service users (Black and et. al., 2011). Due to this, they can suffer from
Hepatitis C or B, HIV and other deceases.
Working conditions: One of the damagers part is long working period which is put in
every body. This will rise the losses capacity in order to work more in an effective manner.
