INTRODUCTION
For enhancing the safety and security of people which is necessary for policies and laws
in healthy and social care sector that are followed in effective manner (Porter, 2010). The main
purpose of this report is to identify priority in health and social care setting which are described
in this project. Also various types of dangers that are included in this department for learning
how to tackle with these problems.

P1 Actual risk and damage which may occurs from each in health or social care setting
Danger can be defined as harms which has capacity for effective diseased individual.
This can be founded at any where at home, work place and other area where person can come
and meet with different type of people, methods applications, techniques etc. Actual danger is
occurs in Teddy bear nursery are divide into various types such as tools used for different service
supplier, damage from physical surroundings, safety method, unhealthiness and many other
(Sandall and et. al., 2010). All the staff members are effected by these damages and hazards such
as Patient, doctors, nurses and also analyse problem for solving them. In below area of risk are
described as under:
Physical danger- When nursery are situated at main road so that most of the time place is
busy and this can create problem for those person who come the service areas through
accidents. In these time, most of the people do not drive safety and sometime it can also
for the children.
Equipments- There are different methods and tools in the service care home that will help
in providing maximum care (Townsend and Morgan, 2017). Doctors should be careful at
the time of usage of these techniques and tools and keep safe other persons. Some time
sockets are fuse and it can harm to those people who near by it and it is so danger if a
person are run at that time he/she are died.
Infection- Some time, patient are not take any precaution and move around one places to
another which cause infection to other individual. Children and old age people have low
immunity so they mainly infected with this in less time.

P2 Policies, legislation and process which relates to health, safety and security
Laws defined as the rules and regulations which are made by government bodies and also
they will carry different functions and activities in proper manner. For reduces danger, there are
certain other health, safety, security which are related to process and acts that required to be
followed by each health and care department in systematic way. These are as follows:
General food hygiene- It is that act which provides importance to safety and quality of
different food (Keleher and MacDougall, 2015). This act that analyse nothing which can
harm on health of person. Those food products are safe which should be publicized,
labelled and presenting in that way which attracts large number of customers.
Health and safety at work act- As per this act, management required to sure that all the
necessary security measures are taken into account so that there are no damage for them
at the time of working. This act will describe the health and safety which required to be
deliver to that person who need this at current time period.
All the above acts assist services suppliers and user services which mainly affect on
different dangerous issues and problems (Carayon, 2016). Both of these rules and regulations
regarding safety and security cat are required for giving various facilities to the poor people who
bear risk of danger at the time of accident. Government also provide major fund to those people
who died at the time of operation.

happening (Bennett, 2010). For the case of emergencies there are two major examples such as
fire and accidents in which fast respond are need by doctors so that its infection level and major
side effect rate are reduced. These are as under:
Do not give improper first aid to the patient
Person should not panic
Give information of other nominated person immediately
