INTRODUCTION
It is necessary for construction companies to maintain safety of workers from any hazard.
This is because there can occur hazard at any time on site. Therefore, proper planning needs to
be done to ensure safety measures on site. Besides that, it requires specific procedure as well of
ensuring safety of workers. It is done to regularly update info about site and making changes in
safety plan. A SSSP is agreement between the site party and business that how health and safety
of site will be managed and monitored
This report will lay emphasis on site specific safety plan. It will provide overview of various
elements in it. Here, Willie’s construction has undertaken project and they will develop a plan to
present to R A P project limited.
TASK
A site specific safety plan is agreement between the site party and business that how health
and safety of site will be managed and monitored. It provides an overview of process and
procedure which will be applied to site safety. Alongside it, the information related to site is
updated regularly and safety is monitored. Likewise, Willey construction will be developing a
plan to present to R A P project limited. The project is of joining steel frame to houses. Thus, it
is as follows
There are many benefits as well of making of this plan which is defined as
A SSSP improves communication and makes work more efficient on site. Take for example
scaffolding - one team may get this on site for a job, but if sharing site safety planning across all
parties you’ll be able to see if any other teams need it later on for a separate job. It’s about
working together and coordinating to make the site safer. Sharing safety plans is a requirement of
PCBU’s onsite
Section 1 Purpose and scope
The purpose of plan is to provide an overview of what measure are implied to maintain health
and safety of workers at site. Besides that, it is developed to monitor safety measures at site and
allow in assigning roles of manager. The scope of plan is that it will consists of various measures
which needs to be taken for safety. Moreover, it will give insight about what type of hazard can
occur and how it will be dealt. Thus, plan will be updated with change in site information.

Section 4 training
In this section it is described how training is provided to workers to deal with risk. Furthermore,
the training will be provided in practical way. Also, a trainer expert will provide training. In
addition training will be of 36 hours a week. Moreover, to ensure proper training monitoring
will be done by Project manager. He will also ensure that things are performed in effective way.
Julie will be responsible for taking feedback of workers whose training has finished. All staff and
contractors will be provided training everyday.
Section 5 site safety rules
They consists of those rules which are to be followed daily by workers at site. They are normal
and basic rules to be followed which is defined as
Each worker has to wear safety kit at site
They will not start work before instruction are given to them
To keep area clean and neat so that there is less chance of slip and falls
Not to put others at risk
To follow safety signs and boards in order to work safely
Not to work in unsafe areas
To report any problem or hazard related to site to supervisor
Do not work with any faulty equipment and check and use right equipment
In case of any issue, ask supervisor about it
Section 6 induction

Here, there will be proper induction given to employee on how to work. The induction will be
given daily to all workers who are working at site. In addition to it, in induction details of regular
task, whom to report, roles and responsibilities etc the induction will be held in morning from 8-
10 the responsibility of conducting this will be of Julie and Johnny. They will then report it to
project manager of what daily tasks are done and who workers are doing it.
Section 7 Employee health
There will be proper procedure of measuring employee health. In that several process will be
done to ensure health of worker. First of all daily check up of each worker will be done both
mentally and physically. There will be a room in which all basic first aid kit and other equipment
will be there. Alongside, any unwell staff will be reported to Johnny, who is Foreman. Johnny
will be responsible for health of employees. Their routine check up will be done at site. In case
of any incident worker will be taken to nearest hospital. In this way, employee health will be
ensured by Willie’s construction at site.
Section 8 Work procedure
The workers needs to follow a special work procedure in which they will have to work. It is
defined as below
Reporting to site on time
Communicating to supervisor regarding daily work
Attending of induction session done and writing down task to be done
Writing list of tools and equipment required for work to be done
Checking of tools and equipment and its working
Proceeding at site with all safety measures
Section 9 Hazard and risk identification
It is necessary to identify different hazard that can occur at site. Also, risk has to be determined
so that it can be reduced by taking measures. In construction site there may occur several risk .
Thus, a plan is developed to identify it and take action.

Section 10 inspection and audit
There is need to do inspection of site so that it is identified whether there are appropriate safety
measures or not. It enables in finding out loophole in those areas and then improving them.
Furthermore, by doing audit it will be easy to analyse and evaluate entire site. For doing site
audit Julie will be responsible for it. They will prepare a report and then give it to project
manager. However, manager will ensure that there are proper safety measures applied. The
inspection will be done on daily basis and report is prepared weekly. In audit many elements will

Section 11 Environmental management
There is need to manage environment at construction site so that natural hazards may not occur
and worker health is maintained. By doing this it becomes easy to take precautions of how to
deal with them. Along with this, it is ensured that waste is properly managed so that worker are
not harm from it. Therefore, on present site environment management will be done daily. It will
be useful in inspecting of any possibility of occurrence of hazard in surrounding. For example,
landslide, heavy rainfall etc apart from it, waste will be disposed in effective way so that there is

no harm in surrounding. Besides, if any hazard occur then it will be ensured that worker safety is
considered. For this project manager will be responsible for managing environment. Manager
will share info with Johnny who will take measures for it.
Section 12 Records register
The record of safely measure has to be stored so that it becomes easy to make changes in those.
Besides, with update in site info the record register needs to be updated so that improvement is
done in measures. On basis of register report is prepared and it consists of detail that how safety
will be monitored and managed at site. Thus, record register will be maintained by johnny who is
foreman. She will regularly take update from Johnny who is Foreman. The record maintained
will be of various things such as

Section 13 Responsibilities and resources
The SSSP must identify the personnel who are responsible for the major components of your
safety plan. Specific people should be identified to fill the roles of corporate safety
representative, project manager, superintendent, emergency contact person, and competent
person In order to ensure safety of workers at site there is need to take responsibility as well.
Moreover, resources are required as well to apply safety measure. Thus, it entirely depends on
responsibility that how much resources is required in it. Thus, in present safety plan they are

In this way, the SSSP will be formed where all health and safety measures of site will be
maintained and monitored. It will be useful in working with all safety measures and ensuring no
harm or injury occur at site. Besides that, feedback will be obtained from R A P project company
that how safety will be maintained. Then, according to it changes will be made into plan so that it
is ensured that at site safety is proper and in case of any hazard its impact can be minimized. It
provides an overview of process and procedure which will be applied to site safety. Alongside it,
the information related to site is updated regularly and safety is monitored.
CONCLUSION
Hereby, it is summarized that SSSP is agreement between two parties to ensure safety of
workers. The plan is of particular time period. The plan ensure that worker safety is maintained
at site. Willie’s construction has developed a plan in which training, induction, employee health,
incident management are included in it. This has enabled in providing insight about what
measure are taken in all these at site. Julie has vital role because she is the office manager and
needs to keep report of all these.
