The requirements of the project is based on the improvement of health and safety
compliance. This would include a formal training for the employees within the workplace in
order to make them aware of such compliance.
The scope of the project is based on providing training to the present employees within
the workplace. The parameters for the training project are cost, time, quality and quantity.
Additional information that would be required form client prior to commencing project
are:
 Objective or business goal of the project.
 Deadlines, key milestones and time constraints for the project.
 Criteria for determining project success.
The problem is based on providing training to the entire team of employees within the
workplace. The project would be designed to meet the expectations of the customers by
providing training on the impacts of health and safety compliance.
With the completion of the project, the benefits for the employees would be that they
would be able to gain sufficient knowledge about the details of health and safety within the
workplace.
Based on the present scenario of work, it could be concluded that workers should be
provided with highest level of protection based on safety and health that would arise within the
work scenario. The issues that could arise within the workplace would include: physical work
environment, work tasks and their way of performing, management and design of work.

Based on implementing the plan for the project, it would be discussed that the managers
and supervisors should develop, implement and thus monitor a training plan based on their
current workers. These plans should be reviewed on a regular basis for ensuring that they are
constantly updated.
Vision – The vision based on ToR is to ensure security within the workplace with the
help of health and safety compliance for the workers.
Objectives - The objectives of ToR is to put forward a scoping exercise in order to assess
the feasibility of reporting to the steering committee.
Scope – Identification for a set of proposed terms within the workplace that would ensure
high level of safety for the employees within the workplace.

The different activities performed within the project include: Project planning, approval
from project sponsor, defining the requirements of training, performing of training and closure of
project.
Based on the provided resources and funding, it could be discussed that there would be a
need for certain equipment within the project that would ensure completion of training. There
would also be a requirement of funding that would be executed by project sponsor. The use of
Gantt chart would be used for the design of the project.
A dedicated team would be appointed for the entire project team. This would include
project sponsor, project manager and team of workers who would arrange the training materials.
There should be a proper arrangement within the workplace that would ensure that each
of the concerned members within the project would be able to establish secure connection with
each other. This could be possible by establishing a social group in which each member would
be actively connected. These members would also be present in the actual office for ensuring that
the project would be progressing as per the business needs.
In order to ensure that the project is achieving its stated objectives, it could be discussed
that a Quality Manager would be hired. The person would be responsible for ensuring that the
project is meeting with the expected deliverables in each of stages. If the project would not meet
with the planned objectives, the Quality Manager would ensure that the deliverables would be
met under the next planned objective.
The Quality Analyst would undertake a proper documentation for ensuring that the
activities performed during the execution phase would be sequences, resourced, executed and
controlled as per the pre-planned objectives of the project.
