INTRODUCTION
Inter-professional working in health and social care refers a situation where some people
who work for health and social care are come together to achieve common goals. In inter-
professional working, all professional working in collaboration. They work together for
maintaining a happy and healthy environment in society. There are social workers, social
agencies, police, social ventures etc. mainly work together to remove such negative elements
from society. But many times these all professional not systematically collaborate, in these
situations their social care work become dysfunctional and failure.
MAIN BODY
Interpersonal working is also essential for providing better and effective health and
social care setting and addressing various social issue. It is an coordinate work of various
individual that promote health and safety of people living in the society. The importance of
interpersonal relationship can be explained through a case study of Rochdale where it was found
dysfunctional multi-agency and social care failure. Because of ineffective coordinate and
cooperation of inter professional people of Rochdale has to suffer numerous problems. Such as
In this case study nine men were sentenced to jail for 25 years as found guilty of serious sexual
harassment of teenager girls aged 13 to 22. It was also revealed that victim women has
sentencing on testament on their bravery, courage (Hills and et.al., 2019). The victims belong to
minor family, so they think that police was not going to support them. But among them one of
the principle victim by all defendants went to police station in 2012 to claim about sex
harassment faced by her and many other girls. Then it came to know that 10 years back it
problem of social harassment was report to the police but nor victims was interest to cooperate
with police inquiries neither police want to pursue the issue further. But detective after getting
complaint in 2012 came to know about child sexual exploitation in Rochdale. Child harassment
issue was incresed due to negligence of police and victims.
On the other hand NSPPCC child protection charity support victim by saying that
because of her courage after seeing increasing child abuse in Rochdale area many other victims
power and confident has enhanced not to ignore such thing and take it as serious. Children social
service was another professional worker whose role is to enquire or investigate about the social
issue and inform it to police. But it was founded that it has organization has unqualified and less
educated worker working for provide safety and security services to society. Organisation has

hire unqualified and less skilled people to cut its cost and create diverse workforce thus they are
not able to solve social issues (Ahluwalia, Spicer and Storey, 2019). At the same time-work load
of social worker was high, and there mainly focused on lifestyles and behaviour of people living
in the society. Social worker does' not pay more attention to safety and health of people as they
think that parents or family member are there to take care of their children. Manager of firms is
also responsible for increasing issue of social harassment as he was happy and satisfied with
organisation function and don't want to bring any change for safety and security of people. It was
also analysed that Police, child social service, NSPCC and other agencies together create an
effective specialist team for addressing issue of child harassment. Ineffectively coordination and
cooperation of professional as team resulted in disagreements and miscommunication. They are
not able to formulate connection between strategic objectives and front line operation thus
unable to solve social issue of Rochdale. It was also founded that failure of investigate that
agencies were reluctant and are not ready to work as team due to culture sensitivity and racial
influence.
Children social services was believed to be senior over other partner and have lot of
information about children in borough. Most of the record of company are misplaced thus it has
no proof or record about various incident occurs in society. Thus, fewer data related to various
suffering of people and its solution (Anderson, Smith and Hammick, 2016). Another
disadvantage of it was non accommodation policy of council that emphasis children should be
kept with their families. Thus, it can be stated that interpersonal working is importance for
setting and resolving any health care and social issue arising in the society. Because of
negligence of police and victims to pursue the case further social harassment has increased
adversely in the Rochdale. But NCPPC by supporting the victim encourage women power and
capabilities to face such challenged and not to avoid them in any situations. It warms every girl
in the society to take care of its protect and if anything happen again than complain it to police
rather than ignoring the incident. It can also happen to someone else so don't neglect such issue.
Children social services has not maintained data or record of various incident if the record were
maintained then police and investigator can use it to identify culprit. Police not have to arrest 100
people and question it can easily identify victims and culprits of social harassment such as Asia
Man (Bennett and et.al., 2016). Unqualified and less educated social worker of children social
service were not able to make solution of problems so company by hiring skilled and knowledge

social worker can helps in resolving issue. Therefore, interrelationship between professional
worker helps in meeting or addressing various social issue and promote growth and success.
In the Rochdale case, each social worker is responsible to seriously take their
responsibility. It is necessary to provide an ethical justice to victims. When social worker or
agencies not work in collaboration, then they can't achieve an effective result from their work.
For example, in the Rochdale child sexual exploitation case social agencies was not worked in
together, so they have not achieved any positive results from their work. On the time, most social
worker was not highly qualified. They were not capable to properly manage their workload, so
they missed many important records which are related to this sexual exploitation case. Some
times a victim not show its interest to register any case in police station, because police processes
takes too much time of victim. In this case, police was also not properly give their contribution in
supporting victims (Kaiser, Patras and Martinussen, 2018). When police of any place is inactive,
then on that place crimes will raise day by day. This is same thing was happened in Rochdale
areas. In this type of situations, local social workers or agencies are highly responsible to provide
a productive justice to victim.
Rochdale in not only an area where this sexual exploitation has happened, because in
many areas within United Kingdom, this exploitation still happening. This type of attempts
completely shows lack of socialism and morality. Each social agency in Rochdale like; NSPPC
Child Protection Charity, The children social services, etc. now responsible to work together to
avoid this type of sexual exploitation in the future. It is really serious concern, because if these
crimes increasing day by day in this area, then its image will be negative in whole country. That's
why social agencies and workers need to properly handle this type of issues. Local police should
be active to provide fair justice to victim. When social ventures or agencies, police, and jury not
work in proper collaboration, then this thing motivates criminals to do more crimes. Top-level
authorities within these social agencies need to reduce work load, because due to workload their
employees are not able to resolve social issues on time (Nyström and et.al., 2017). Main
objectives of a social worker is to maintain a healthy environment within society. If they not
work properly, then they will not achieve these objectives on time. There is NSPCC was played
great role in providing justice to child who faced sexual exploitation. It is a child protection
charity agency which work for child care, so when It was listened case of that victim child. Then
top authority of this agency was directly taken decision to provide justice to that child.

Inter-Professional working in health and social care is too imporatnt to our society. In
Rochdale case, some social agnecies was not show their interest for working in collaboration, so
their objective of maintaining healthy environment within society become failuar. There is each
social agnecies need to support other agency's opeation to reduce negative elelmets within
society (Falk, Hopwood and Dahlgren, 2017). Currently sexual exploitation is very serious issue
within society, so each social agency is need to come together fot dealing with this type of
serious issues. Rochdale's police is also a big part of social agencies, in which local police
administration should be active to punish culprits. Jury is also need to fulfil its social
responsibility by providing fair verict. When jury and police work together activelly, then their
these actions will remove many social issues from existing society. These social agencies need to
train their worker, because without training their worker can't systematically cover any taks.
Proper communition is very necessary to solve various social issues. In the Rochdale case, social
agnecies and workers was not provided justice to victims because os lack of communication. All
social worker need to properly communicate with each other. This thing will help them to
remove various errors within their operations. Suppose they face same case in the future, then
with support of good communication they will easily help to victim by providing justice. Mainly
All people who work for social welfare need to cover their each task in fast manner.
Otherwise, victims will face many challenges in their daily life (Timonen-Kallio, E., Hämäläinen
and Laukkanen, 2017). Many many victims not complaint about culprit, because they think legal
formalities take too much time. In this case, local government of Rochdale is also responsible to
support all social agnecies in this area to avoid these sexual exploitation issues in the future.
CONCLUSION
It can be concluded that social agencies and workers within Rochdale need to be more
qualified and active at their work. Local police is also responsible to solve each case on time.
Otherwise, this type of expatiations will increase day by day in this area. High qualification and
activitivness is too important in social worker to provide a fair verdict to a victim. Legal
authorities within Rochdale area need to take some strict actions towards culprits to stop such
crimes in the future. These are some important things which all social agencies should employ in
thier daily operations to make happy and healthy environment within Rochdale area.
