INTRODUCTION
The concept of change is related with the development and growth of enterprise as via
this it becomes easy for company to execute their operations effectively. Further, health and
social care organisation carriers out its operations or activities so as provide effective services to
its users and in move to leads development (De Oliveira da Silva, Ramos and Moraes, 2017).
Therefore, changes or variation takes place within the workplace rapidly in terms of advanced
technology and assist in rendering better care services to the clients above their expectation level.
In this report, given organisation is ‘Liverpool Home Care’, it is a community health NHS trusts
developed in 2012. Company give controversial services for patients at the end of their life. This
report divided into different tasks which covers various factor of driver change, recent changes in
health and social care services. At last, principles of change management is also determined in
this report which will help the service provider to give better services to the need people.

are continuously taking place in the cut throat competitive world brings huge impact in the
smooth functioning of the medical business. Political stability, economic conditions, social
trends, environmental factors etc. need not to be fluctuating every now and then. This changes
affect the sales and profitability ratio at a large scale. Also, this forces gradually decreases the
market value of health and social care sector which is a negative sign for the company. Business
associates need to frame unique tactics in order to overcome the challenges prevailing in the
global market. In addition, with this, here are some challenges that can be faced by ‘Liverpool
Home Care’ during adaption of desired changes:
1. Lack of funds may be the major problem for ‘Liverpool Home Care’ as to acquire new
technologies for better treatment of patients, payment of salaries to the doctors and other
staff members and providing other basic health facilities to the patients requires huge

health and social care because one takes applies the numeric measure to find the extent of
changes where as another uses the method of comparing in terms of its effectiveness in past. This
both approaches provide detail knowledge regarding changes which have huge impact in last
couple of years. All this are most significant and essential tool but according to the case study
PDCA is more suitable tool which is determined as under:
Plan: As a deputy home manager in health and social care has different roles and
responsibility in order to plan how to develop new technology about overcoming above all issues
in an effective and efficient manner (Gleddie and Robinson, 2017). According to the case study,
there are some major issue which is faced by an organisation such as health and safety concern,
abuse of clients and so on. Therefore, in order to overcome such issue, manager can plan to
implement robotic surgery trend technology which is essential for the organisation to easily treat
patients effectively.
Do: It is second step of PDCA which is used by the Liverpool Home Care to do plan in
an effective appropriate manner. In this manager should provide training to their staff members
