Introduction
Health care is focused on the improvement of the health outcomes of individuals and
subsequently the community and country population. The social care is also a part of the health
care system that focuses on the improvement and supporting the people from a community. The
social care workers focus on supporting the individual and families of the community who need
help. Hence, the social care workers should focus on the effective evaluation of the community
and individual health for developing the plan regarding the health care. In this context, social
enterprise that is commercial strategy implementation by an organisation to improve the social,
environmental and financial well-being of a community and this also maximise the social impact
considering the profit of the co-owners (Wry and York 2017). Thus, the overall analysis of the
community should be considered with higher priority. Based on this factor, it can be stated that
the process of the evaluation should be focused on the strengths and the weakness of the
community which can be done through PEST analysis. Based on the analysis the social workers
can develop plans for the improvement of the community such as developing environmental and
political resources. In the following section the PEST analysis of the Greenwich borough would
be done and based on the analysis the recommended processes would be discussed.

 The technological prospect of the
country is very good (Great.gov.uk,
2020).
 The technological growth and the
knowledge of the England population
regarding the technology are in higher
level (Great.gov.uk, 2020).
 Innovation and higher GDP is the
factor that helps the country to develop
health care related technology
development (Great.gov.uk, 2020).
 Country health care technology already
introduced the artificial intelligence
technology which includes voice
search, virtual reality and others
(Great.gov.uk, 2020).
 According to NHS, the innovation and
implementation of technology leads to
change in the work processes and it can
also affect the health care as the lack of
knowledge regarding technology is a
prominent aspect (The Health
Foundation, 2018).

Political
The Greenwich borough health services and the NHS have shared a plan that the health
condition of the community would be improved within 2024. The factor of the improvement is

focused on the improvement of the health behaviour of the community and the improvement of
the life expectancy rate of the community. The smoking rate of the community has been seen to
be lowered with time as well that is the rate is 16.9 per cent as per the health data of the

factor.
On the other hand, it has been seen that the health condition of the education regarding
health is needed to be improved as the health literacy rate is average. The disease rate of the
community should be improved for the improvement of the health condition. It has been seen
that the economic balance of the community and the health care access is adequate as well.
Hence, the political factor for the health care in the community is in the proper condition.

The economic condition of the country is in a good shape. It has been seen that the GDP
of the country is among the top most developed countries (Ons.gov.uk, 2020). Hence, the
economic balance of the country has been seen to be in a good shape. Moreover, the
improvement of the health care facilities for the community has been seen to be possible. The
employment factor of the community population has also been seen to be in a balance. Thus, it
can be stated that the factor of the economy of the country as well as in the community is in
balance.
The job seeking allowance is also provided to the people of the community. Thus, the
unemployed people can also be provided with the proper support by the community services
(Kontiset al. 2019). Hence, it can be stated that the employment factor of the community is in a
good situation.

Moreover, the community is multicultural and multi-ethnic. Hence, it can be found that
the education and the health literacy are affected by the factors of the cultural beliefs and also the

found that the change in the health literacy development factors also focused by the NHS. On the
other hand, the aspects of the improvement would be needed to be controlled by the legislative
and also the policy development.

The technology of the country is advanced. It has been seen that the process of the
technological development in the country is focused on the improvement and the advancement.
The health care technological adherence is also effective in the country. The process of the
improvement in the technological aspect of the country found to be very much in positive
direction. Thus, the improvement would be focused on the improvement and the adaptation of
the technology for improved care providence and patient health outcome improvement. Thus, it
can be stated that the improvement in the technology with time helped the health care system of
the country to improve in a proper way.
Innovation and GDP of the country is in a good condition which leads to the development
of the new and advanced technologies in the health care centres (Ons.gov.uk, 2020). Thus, it can

be stated that the process of the improvement in the country regarding the technology is found to
be effective and progressive. Moreover, the aspect of the improvement helped in the
improvement of the health care access development for the Greenwich community people as

most important factor in the process of the health condition improvement.
Recommendation
Based on the above PEST analysis and the discussion it can be found that the country
health care environmental and other aspects found to be in a positive direction. However, the
improvement of the condition would be required in some factors. The recommended factors
would be focused on the following:
 Education development.
 Financial improvement.
 Improvement in the health care access.
 Proper development in the health care technology.
 Improvement in the cultural competence development (Carlton and Singh 2018).
The improvement should be focused on the development and also the effective health
promotion programs. The education is one of the important aspects for the improvement in the
earlier mentioned factors (Alvarez Moranet al. 2018). However, the aspects of the financial
development and the health care access development would be dependent on the health policy
development and also the improvement of the factors regarding the health care legislations.
Thus, it can be stated that the government and other stakeholders in the health care sector should
improve the health care policies and also invest an enough amount of money for the
improvement of the condition (Valentineet al. 2019). The factor of the investment and the

process of the stakeholder involvement would be done with the consideration of proper
