have planned significant strategies. The obesity and overweight also creates the diseases such as
high blood pressure and heart attack. The obesity is major health issue which is faced by

individuals patients suffering from diseases have different values, beliefs and attitudes i.e. these
varies from each patients(Gilbert and Powell, 2010). For instance the attitudes and belief of
individuals staying in United Kingdom differs from individuals of other countries. There are
certain factor which directly or indirectly influences the development of health and social care
sectors. These factor are described as follows-
Socio-cultural Factors:- The socio-cultural factors includes the values, beliefs and
attitudes of individuals. These may have both negative and positive effects in

Political Factors:- The political condition of country is included under this factor. The

promoting healthy life and influencing the attitudes of society individuals towards health issues.

issue(McHugh and et.al., 2011). It a strategy government charges high taxes of sugar used by
soft drinks manufacturing companies which helps in reducing sugar level and supports in
