Partnership plays an important role in the health and social care. The concept of
partnership leads to providing effective services to the service user. This report will evaluate the
characteristic of the effective management in terms of working in partnership under the health

and roles of the manager and leader. Along with this the report will also discuss on the leadership
and management. This could also compare the role of leader and the function of manager using

performing the effective management in the health and social care. The major responsibility of
the leader is to guide their followers. And on the other hand, the major responsibility of the
manager is to manage the working scenario in the health and social care. The partnership
between both of them is needed as both the elements ensure the effectiveness in the services of
the health and social care.
Leadership is the ability of an individual or group that lead for influencing and guide
followers to team member or other member in organization. Transactional leadership in health
and social care that is also known as managerial leadership, this keep for working where the
