INTRODUCTION
This report focuses on roles and responsibilities of health and social care settings. This
report help in understanding about different advisory in health and social care settings. There are
several factors which affect health and social care settings and health workers have to understand
different factors and aspect which can affect their work. There are different health care and social
care settings which includes hospital, outpatient clinic, clinical lab etc. This report help in
understanding the benefits of effective health and social care settings. This report also provides
information how health and social care settings can be improved and different measures which
can be taken for effective implementation of health and social care settings (Morley and Cashell,
2017).
MAIN BODY
Roles and responsibilities and health and social care settings.
A health and social care health worker plays an important role in the society. They create
a positive impact in their surroundings through their duties. The roles and responsibilities of a
health and social workers are as discussed below-
The health and social care workers aims to aid the family members in situations of need.
They work for resolving the conflicts in various relationship. They work to provide help to the
old aged and the people with mental disabilities. The social and health care workers perform
duties involving coping up with the drug or alcohol addicts and facilitate them to the
rehabilitation centres. Apart from the duties discussed above, the social and health care workers
have various rights which they can perform in order to make their roles and responsibilities
effective and efficient. The social and health care workers have a right to intervene in the family
or private matters in case an individual feels threatened from the harm being caused. The
workers aim to promote human development and security (Liberman, 2017). They work to
encourage social inclusion and healthy participation during the normal course of action. The
social and health care workers work in order to help children facing emotional shortcomings or
who have special needs. They also work to establish the independence and dignity of the adults
and the old aged people. A working relationship is a relationship which involves rules and code
of conduct and it is necessary to follow them. In a personal relationship there are no specific
rules or guidance.

Ways in which a working relationship is different from a personal relationship
Working relationship is different from personal relationship in many aspects. Working
relationship is a formal relationship which is a deliberate or a forced relation between two or
more people. Whereas a personal relationship is an informal relationship which happens or take
place naturally. A working relationship is a relationship where time is spent with colleagues
during working hours and there is no or minimal contact out of the working hours, also it is
strictly professional. A personal relationship is where personal life and extra curricular activities
and social life become involved with staff members. This takes place out of working
hours.Working relationship refers to working and interacting with individual due to the work
related matters and the individual is not of your choice. On the other hand, personal relationship
means interacting with a person as per your wish and the individual can choose the person he or
she wants. A working relationship has boundaries which are set up to help protect the individuals
of the service. It is done with the purpose to avoid vulnerable situations. A personal relationship
does not have pre set boundaries, it is totally up to the individual to set the boundaries for the
relationships they are interested (Grant and et. al., 2019).
The role of regulators and advisors within health and social care
As per this, the role of advisor and regulator within an healthcare is vital because they use
to prepare plan and strategies in such a way which provide beneficial recommendation in the
patient compliance. In context with this, the regulatory affairs and their specialist help to assist in
obtaining and maintain government approval for the drug, medical devices, nutritional product
and various apparatus which is used in such a way which help to create comfortability in patient
recovery. This board of advisory and regulatory used to identifies the best possible way of
treatment with best quality of care and best quality of health to their patient to fulfil their need
and want as per their recovery and treatment (Glasby, 2018).
In context with this, the regulatory and advisory affairs must taking care of all aspect in
healthcare which is related with the product development, that include research, clinical trial, and
various manufacturing practice which is based on regulation and approval process. They are help
to review the product promotional material which include labelling, batch record and other
specification sheet or different test method which is used for the compliance with the regulation
and several policies.

An employer provides employee with the safe and agreed ways in which an employee is
expected to work. This is shared to the employee by the employer or other colleague in the form
of policy. It is important to follow agreed ways of working due to the many reasons, such as-
It ensures proper working within the law and provides care and support that meet the needs of
the individual. It is further important to work as per the agreed ways in order to perform
efficiently without harming oneself whether intentionally or unintentionally. An individual is
responsible for their own task and thus the probability is that the individual could face
disciplinary actions if others are harmed due the individual's actions. The disciplinary actions
can be as worse as dismissal or even prosecution (Donatini, 2020).
Following the agreed ways of working ensures that there is safety and welfare of the
individuals. Also it makes sure that the individual's need is being met by the care which is being
received. This done by involving the individuals in their care or support network planning and
review. Following the agreed ways of working promote equality and diversity among the
employees along with upholding the individual's dignity and human rights.

It is quite important to have access to the full and up to date details of agreed ways of
working. Agreed ways of working include the systems, processes and codes of conduct for the
work related tasks and behaviour which are expected to be performed. The agreed ways of

delivery, in order to ensure that it is safe, effective and meets up with the needs of every
individual. There are various ways to give contribution in quality assurance process, like- An
individual can work as a front line person which will help you play a major role in the quality
assurance process of the organization. It provides the individual with an observation and further
helps the individual to analyse and seek for the measures for improvement which can be
implemented later on after the feedback. A person can also represent the organization to the
individuals they support along with their acquaintance but a sense of professionalism must be
ensured along with the agreed ways of working. A social worker who has knowledge of first aid
training can contribute their efforts in providing positive experiences to social care service users.
A person who has knowledge and understanding of health and safety as a social worker can help
in contributing to the quality assurance process and it has a positive impact on the service users.
The quality assurance process consists of various steps in procedure, those steps are- assessing
care delivery, identifying the issues and problems, further implementing the solutions and later
follow up monitoring (Nazzaro, Stanco and Marotta, 2020).

partners. Each member must be punctual, polite and fulfil all the obligation as this reflects the
