MAIN BODY
The field of health and social science has become quite holistic in modern times. The
amount of staggering leaps that science and technology have made along with the devastating
effects of the pandemic and stressful pace of current life has made it paramount for people to
focus on their physical and mental health on a priority basis. I have utilized the skills which I
have gained during my school years along with the undergraduate degree which I received in the
field of health and social science in working with prestigious institutes and companies which has
resultant in an extensive practical experience. I would like to further enhance by continuing
further learning in the field of health and social care by eventually working for the utmost global
authority on matters related to such domains such as the World Health Organization (WHO).
I think that I am suitable for undertaking this extensive learning undertaking as I have
gained a lot of experience in the field of healthcare which extends to theoretical knowledge
which has armed me with great knowledge about various ailments and social issues in modern
society. I am also suitable as I have spent a lot of time in the field doing practical undertaking
and providing social relief services amidst the pandemic which has allowed to me inculcate
various skills which if coupled with further professional learning will eventually lead me to work
with institutions such as the World Health Organization.
My hobbies and personal interests also align with the talent and competencies that
institutions seek in people working in the domain of health and social care. I am an avid reader
and I love reading books belonging to the genre of auto-biographies and current health issues
which has resulted in me having an extensive knowledge about gender studies and pandemic
after-effects which can make me a valuable asset for any learning institution or governing body
such as the WHO. I also have a deep compassion and empathy towards the people who have
been dealt a rough hand by life and those who cannot afford the various basic amenities of life. I
have been involved in various health awareness camps spreading awareness about hygiene along
with the precautions needed in this turbulent time. I am also regularly active in social charities
and doing field in the field of health and social care and looking after the needy which has given
me practical exposure towards various real life issues in this area.
My main aim is to utilize the skills and experiences that I have gained through my
education such as schooling and my undergraduate degree along with my real life work
credentials to make a difference in the field of health and social care. This next step I my

education degree will equip me with more professional skills and higher as well as more detailed
knowledge of health and social care which is a necessity as the problems are also getting
increasingly complex. I would like to use this academic opportunity to better myself, contribute
towards societal well-being by becoming able to work for the WHO which is why this academic
opportunity is very vital for me and I would like to pursue it with full dedication.
