INTRODUCTION
Health and social care services are defined as the integration between several services which are
available as well as provided by medical professionals to patients in hospital. All these services are
integrated with various biological as well as behavioral principle of nourishment in order to make
services available to those people who required proper care or treatment. People who suffers from
specific disability or deadly disease required special care as well as medication. It is important for
medical staff to develop the understanding about the needs of services user and provide them with
appropriate solution to their problem. As this strategy will assist medical staff in developing as well as
maintaining healthy relationship with customers. It is essential for the medical staff to conduct the
medical practices as per the laws .As this activity will help health care institution in eliminating legal
issues.
The purpose of the report is to develop the understanding about the concepts of health ,
disability , illness and behaviour in context of health care services. It also has focus on analysing the
effect of legislation as well as social policy on the ways services are made.

Concept of health, disability, illness and behaviour:
Health as well as social care services is considered to be as significant aspects in lives of people living in
society. But with the passage of time, the perception of people regarding the services provided by
health and social care institution has changed. Earlier, an individual used to visit health and social
care institution until and unless there is urgent need. But with the increase in awareness health
awareness, people visit hospital for routine body check ups and they have understanding about the
living healthy life. In context of Mr. Simon and his family is required to keep themself about the
importance and health and social care. Mr. Simon needs to visit hospitals for routine check-ups. As
it has been identified from the given case study that Mr. Simon is suffering from deadly disease
name as Parkinson disease. So he requires special care as well as treatment which will help him in
improving his health (Colosio and et. al., 2017) Mr. Simon is suffering from deadly disease and he
tends to forget a lot of things which he used to do every day. In addition to this He is also suffering
from visual impairment as well as also has hearing problem .Due to deadly disease Mr. Simon is

facing difficulty in performing routine activities. Parkinson's disease has negative impact on the
quality of life. The several symptoms of the disease might have adverse influence on the behaviour
of an individual. It is required by medical staff in an organisation to develop the understanding
about the needs of patient suffering from such kind of disease and gain knowledge about the
symptoms of Parkinson's disease. As this activity will assist medical professional in providing
appropriate treatment as well as suitable care to patients (Grasso, 2016)
How perceptions about specific needs have changed.
The development of perceptions have been deeply affected by the practices that are been faced by the
individual. Thus, the organisation will look after the better handling of the operations that will help in
better growth and development of the organisation that will help in better rise in compatibility of the
health and social care organisation. In the previous period, people used to be absurd and unaware about
the seriousness of Parkinson disease. But with the advancement of technology and increase in
knowledge, people and workers in the health care have gained a good knowledge about the diseases
and the issues related to it (Thompson, 2015). Thus, such condition is required to be handling in a better
way.
Also, the people have grown aware about the health concerns and thus, unlike to those in older days,
now take more care of their health and well-being. This will help in suitable rise in compatibility of the
health and medical care operations that will help in suitable rise in functional capability of the firm.
Other than this, the development of a good perception will support a good building of a better
relationship that helps medical workers and employees for a good rise in trust level and effectiveness of
their operations that will help in suitable rise in operational capability of an organisation (Mirowsky,
2017). The early identification of the symptoms that are been shown by the health and medical care
employee’s or officials in the organisation. Other than this, it will help in better prevention of different

been taken in consideration are as follows:

from medical staff of health and social care home. This will help them to that the proper
support and gain a good control over the operations that will help in suitable rise in
operational and service quality offered by the organisation in a better way (Green and

the needs. Mr. Simon Pen along with that it will be more explaining. Along with it will be the more it will
be the more challenging (Batterham, Hawkins and Collins, 2016). Approaches and problematic
approaches is the one more enlarging effective for the service users enlarging process. It is the duty or
responsibility of the service providers to take care the needs of organizational behavior. Besides, service
users are not in the condition to take care of its self. For them, it is the full responsibility of service
providers to take care the needs of all service users. Apart from that, it will be the more challenging and
effective nature of things.
In order to take care the needs of service users it is important to adopt intervention strategies

take care the better protection level. Whichever is the productive and efficient in more productive

fails to take care the needs of their ill member who are the victims of ignorance by their families. This
will give negative impact on the behavior of that patients. Many of the doctors suggested that try to
make patient busy and involving some good habits such as connectivity with social media, make friends,
do better activities with good environmental growth. This process helps to keep calm the patient and

Challenging behavior is the typical cases which are pretty common in patient which are referred to
health and social care units. Society will never accept those people who suffering from challenging
behaviors (St Drummond and et.al., 2015). Due to lack of proper awareness and lack of knowledge it
gives negative influences. Society needs to pay attention towards the positive thinking for the patients.
Besides, it also very much necessary for the organizations to take cares the needs of the organizations.
Moreover, it will be the more challenging to grab the positive nature. Challenging behavior can be
categorized into various categories like showing aggression, throwing stuffs on it etc. another
challenging behavior is people do sexual act in public which gives negative impact on the society. There
are many situations of challenging behavior is isolation and lesser time dedicated by the family. Some
old age people are avoided by their family members due to some their own health issues. They suffering
from family old age issues, mental ailments like dementia, joint pains, mental issue etc. they needs to
depend on others for caring and support. On the contrary family members are not enough capable to
gives time to them.

In order to prevent those challenges, unit will need to take further steps in order to prevent the nature.

of potential level of growth. Besides, improvement the condition of patient will also gives positive

study based on intervention health care safety for highly suffering from disability people. Present study
discussed different aspects of health care industries. It will be more likely and productive nature of

in the study.
