Introduction
Health & social care sector consist a broad range of roles along with different skills
required and varying levels of demands. It include different types of care services, medication
and treatment which should be provided according to specific health problem of an individual.
However, this industry includes care homes, hospitals, nursing homes, mental asylums, hospices
and dental practices. This assignment will focus on implications for commissioners & providers
of care at national and global level along with social inequality for users of care. It will also
include challenges faced by care leaders and ways to overcome the same along with brief
summery of selected issues. The recommendations for addressing these problems and action
plan to support implementations of suggestions is given below.

Implications for commissioners and providers of care both in national and global context
The commissioners and care providers plays an important role for ensuring proper health
of people living in a country. It includes to make more effective as well as efficient practices
which provide support to make people relived from specific disease or injury to maintain their
comfort level. However, it has been analysed that there are wide range of health issue which may
take severe condition and required to treated with immediate and accurate actions to save lives of
sick individuals. In addition to this, it is necessary to make an accurate care policies and practices
which are helpful to reduce present issues in context of care services in order to boost up patient
outcomes (Aveyard, 2014). Moreover, it is observed that some of problems get raised in health
and social care sector which are required to be sort out at national and global levels for
improving wellness of people. Meanwhile, few of issues are selected such as insufficient funds
as per demands and ineffective care practices having nor or very less results.

Care providers should make an appropriate levels and care standards for carrying out
specific treatment procedures along with strictly implementing legislations. However, it will
provide help to care practitioners for conducting clinical activities and procedures in more
effective as well as efficient manner which facilitate in gain desired outcomes for an ill person.
Meanwhile, the problem of not having sufficient funds according to demands of services in
health and social care create major problem in terms of providing desired care services to desired
patients. It is necessary for commissioners and care providers to make an appropriate plan to
manage overall clinical practices in specific budget and deliver better quality of medical facilities
for well-being of sick people.
At the other hand, other issues is ineffective care practices which may responsible for
creating severe medical situation of an individual. It is essential for commissioners and care
providers to strictly apply legal rules and policies regarding delivering proper care facilities with
effective procedures as well as medications in order to make patient feel relieved (Cherry and
Jacob, 2016). However, it is necessary to take strict actions against care providers like nursing
staff, surgeons, specialist, psychiatrist and dentist for their mistakes which impacts positively in
at national and global level in healthcare sector. Moreover, it will make professionals more
dedicated and loyal towards their work in respect of carrying out clinical practices very carefully
which results into better outcomes for patients along with reducing threat of drug errors
respectively.
User of care suffering from social inequality
Users of care also face number of problem while seeking to gain required care services in
healthcare organisation to become disease free. It involves to focus on actual needs and demands
of customer in order to provide appropriate care services for making them well-being.
Meanwhile, it consist the problem that poor people and some of avoided groups in country did
not get appropriate care facilities which is harmful for them and may leads to death due to not
getting medications on time. In addition to this, the problems faced by patients includes
inappropriate behaviour of staff members, inequality, slipping floor and improper cleanliness in
wards (Doel and Shardlow, 2017). Meanwhile, hospital management focus on cleanliness,
clipping floors and behaviour of employees in order to improve the same in proper manner.
Moreover, the major problem has been faced by people while seeking for care facilities which is

required to be reduced from society in respect of improving wellness of these citizens at national
and global content.
At the other hand, when lack of funds situation is determined then care professionals
provide expensive service to rich patients only whereas poor people did not get desired advanced
medical facility due to their poor status of income. Meanwhile, it indicates about factor of
inequality in context of providing medical care services or medication which can be determined
at national as well as global levels. External agencies and higher authorities in healthcare sector
should put efforts to provide strict regulations, standards and guidelines in order to manage
available funds to deliver better quality of services to make people well-being. Furthermore, it
involves specific standards such as person centred care, dignity & respect, safeguarding from
abuse, safety and nutritions which should followed properly.
The problem of providing ineffective meditations or treatment become another large
problem due to which people may acquire severe condition of their specific disease. It is
necessary for government agencies to make strict legislations and provide instructions to follow
them properly (Doherty, Horne and Wootton, 2014). However, it includes Health & social care
2012, Care act, Mental health act, equality act and many more which should be followed to
ensure appropriate care facilities delivery to patients.
Challenges to be faced by health care leaders
Healthcare leaders are responsible for the action which is take by the team members.
Some healthcare do not provide proper care to patients due to poor funds. Every healthcare need
fund to provide a good quality of care. There are different challenges which are faced by
healthcare leaders such as
Health rising cost: As more individuals strive to live for long time, more active lifestyle,
healthier, healthcare concerns increases and so does costs. Most of the people spend money on
healthcare so it increases demand. It is a challenge which majorly faced by the leaders, due to
more cost people can not afford the training which lack the staff members and responsibilities of
leader increases. This challenge is a huge concern for leaders because they seek to give coverage
for the employees (Evans, 2016).
Healthcare regulatory challenges: No a days healthcare taken centre position in
political area. Funds which are available for patients and staff members are not provided to them.
Leaders are inform to staff that how to handle changes in coverage. This challenge drives up to

cost of providing care and services Healthcare leaders are responsible for the action which is take
by the team members. Some healthcare do not provide proper care to patients due to poor funds.
Every healthcare need fund to provide a good quality of care. There are different challenges
which are faced by healthcare leaders such as
Health rising cost: As more. Healthcare have some requirements which is important to
fulfil as it will increase care of patients. Healthcare leaders are burdened to follow with newly
and variety of revised standards such as Accreditation Act and Health Insurance Portability.
Healthcare providers need actively awareness and sharing information regularly.
Technological and medicinal advancement challenges: Practice of technology and
medicine created challenges and opportunity in way providers practice of medicine. Health
organization are facing shortage of physicians, which leads to poor care of patients (Glanz,
Rimer and Viswanath, 2015). If there are less physicians, leaders of healthcare face major issues.
Rapid change requires healthcare leaders to develop and acquire methods to access and maintain
private sessions and patient's data.
Education and training challenges: professional development is necessary and it is the
key. Healthcare leaders should take step to develop, assess and fine tune key professional and
personal skills to continue proficient. Healthcare leaders should take more strategies and
approaches to change dynamic and include personal care of patients. For that staff should be
available to communicate with patients.
Ethical challenges: It is a big deal in healthcare. There are certain incidents which can
hurt character as well as medical leaders such as sexual misconduct. It also creates rise and cost
in malpractice insurance. Healthcare ensure employees and their own behaviour towards patient.
Building trust earns funding and money and also reduces unrequited liability cost for agency.
Every leader and staff should treat a patient as a patient, they have no rights to physically abuse a
patient so there should some strategies and policies regarding this.
Ways to overcome the challenges
Overcoming administrative burdens: If in case patient experience leaders it could
wave magic wand and can change one single thing, some would create administrative burdens on
clinicians disappear. It should be eliminated from the healthcare, it makes leaders to suffer.
Administrative burden elimination can provide patients equal care and treatment (Knott and

Scragg, 2016). Due to political pressure it is hard to give a good quality of care. If this will not
be a issue for healthcare leaders they can provide a good care for every patient.
Forging human connection: Administrative burdens diminish the connection which is
required for positive patient experience. Patients do not need medical transaction, patients want
personal interaction. If healthcare leader will interact with patient in good and positive way it
will help to express problem. A good interaction between healthcare leader and patient can also
help to know better about the patient condition and they will build a trust on healthcare leaders.
A good connection between a healthcare leader and patient is important.
Expanding point of view: Health system become invested in patients experience, scope
of work is wide. This will help to expand the point of view of patient for healthcare. By
providing a good quality of care is also need (McCormack and McCance, 2016). Healthcare
leader should thing in broad way, it makes leader to think creatively and it will create an impact
on the patients.
Some funds and healthcare programs should be provided to healthcare so they can treat
patients more effectively, which will help every individual to get good quality of care. There are
ethical challenges, healthcare leader should communicate with all the employees regarding this
because it can create a major impact on trust issues of patients and healthcare. Cost of health
should be decrease because there are certain individuals those can not afford it. There should be
some programs which provide a good care at the low cost. Every staff and healthcare leader
should get proper knowledge of technology and medicine which make easy to treat. Shortage of
physicians should be taken care because it effects on the reputation of healthcare as well as
individual's health. Government should provide every requirements to the healthcare so they can
improve and overcome from the challenges which they are experiencing.
Conclusion
From the above discussion, it can be concluded that health and social care sector has to
face certain problems. The reason behind this is that they do not have appropriate funds by which
poor can not get suitable treatment. Due to which their health goes on declining. Moreover, some
practitioners are also involved in illegal practices such as they give medicines which do not have
any impact on health conditions of person, as they are more focussed to make money rather than
providing effective services. There are uncertain ethical challenges which have been faced by
people as they are being treated abusively and it is not ethical.

on two issues of healthcare sector including insufficient funds as per demands and ineffective
care practices which are required to be addressed for improving patient outcomes.

The selected issues of health & social care sector includes problem of having insufficient
funds as per demands and ineffective care practices which are required to be addressed properly
for improving wellness of society. Initially, it has been analysed that care sector did not get
sufficient funds for providing proper care to every person (Noe and et. al., 2017). It is necessary
for commissioners and higher positioned people in healthcare sector are required to appeal to
government authorities for increasing funds in order to make sure better health of citizens at
global as well as national levels. However, this problem create issue of inequality because only
rich individual get appropriate medical service whereas poor people remain avoided from care

facilities which impacts negatively on their wellness. At the other hand, the issue of carrying out
ineffective clinical practices by care professionals also generate major problem in context of
well-being of citizens in national and global context. This is necessary for authorities punch for
their negligence behaviour because it may results into death of a patient. In addition to this,
carelessness of care professionals should not be tolerated because it may leads to severe
condition of an individual at global level which is required to removed from care sector in proper
way.
Why selected issues are a priority to be addressed by health sector
The selected issue are at priority to be solved by healthcare sector because it is very
critical for people and their lives. However, the problem of having insufficient funds impacts
negatively on well-being of poor people because they are not capable to afford expensive and
advanced medical facilities to overcome with their particular complicated disease (Trotter,
2015). Moreover, less money in care industry impacts on poor people because rich citizens can
afford expensive medications and care professional prefer to provide advanced treatment to them
only to earn more profits. It is important to solve this problem so that every personal can get
proper medical facilities for overcoming with their specific disease and remain healthy at
national as well as global level. At the other hand, the problem of conducting ineffective clinical
practices is due to negligence and carelessness of professionals which can be removed by giving
strict punishment to them.
Key recommendations to address the issues
Considering the analysis of selected issues of health and social care sector, it has been
determined that these are critical problems which must be sort out for improving quality of
medical facilities. However, the problem consist insufficient amount of funds in health care
sector and ineffective clinical practices which are mandatory to be solved for ensuring better
health condition of citizens at national and global level. It has been recommended that authorities
should increase awareness about spending in order to manage available funds in proper way. It
consist to create a spending plan or a budget to solve and prevent financial problems (Wenger-
Trayner and et. al., 2014). Moreover, it will provide support to carrying out optimum utilisation
of funds in order to gain maximum outputs so that every person will get proper care services
appropriately. At the other hand, issue of ineffective clinical practices can be solved by
documenting everything and submit tos superior for cross checking. It has been suggested that

strict regulations should be applied to follow proper medication reconciliation procedures,
double checking and punishment criteria according to mistakes.
An action plan to support the implementation of the recommendations
The plan of action includes number of steps which are required to carried out in proper
manner for completing set goals with desired results. It involves define problem, collect &
analyse data, goal statement, implement solutions and monitor & evaluate. However, the
problem of sufficient funds and ineffective clinical practices in health and social care sector.
Moreover, next step is to collect information about these issue and then analyse the same for
determining actual cause of these problem to make appropriate solution to gain desired
outcomes. In addition to this, goal of plan is to manage funds for carrying out overall care
services and apply policies of punishment for ineffective medications. Meanwhile, after setting
goals the strategies should be applied at work place at national and global level. Furthermore, it
is necessary to monitor the results of applied practices and evaluate effectiveness of the same.
Conclusion
The given report had concluded that it is duty of practitioner to ensure that every patient
is treated similarly and they do not carry out any illegal practices. It is founded that several
problems can be handled by using different measures which includes overcoming administrative
burdens, forging human connection and expanding point of view. It is determined that plan of
actions is created to have guidelines by which problems can be solved within required time
frame.

Reflection
Considering the given discussion, there are different issue which were analysed and
described previously such as insufficiency of funds and ineffective clinical practices. I have
faced insufficiency of funds which create major problem for working in health and social care
because it is essential to provide accurate care to every person. However, I feel that funds are
required to be managed and by reducing waste of the same at the time of carrying out clinical
activities and procedures. In addition to this, I have experienced that some of care professionals
do not remain careful while providing medication or treatment due to which negative results may
be occurred. Mistakes attempt by few of staff members impacts negatively on image of overall
care professionals working in specific healthcare organisation and reduce good will of care
institution as well.
At the other hand, I have mistaken regarding maintaining records including not
mentioning every small information and only make records of provided symptoms along with
major symptoms. It is necessary for me to learn about to make records of each small information
regarding every single patient. Moreover, I believed that technological development is essential
in health & social care sector in terms of recording and maintaining medical records of people in
electronic information systems. It is helpful to gain specific data easily and information remain
accurate due to which medication will provide in correct way to make patient disease free. I also
realised that health and social care is one most pro-active sector, which has been contributed into
the development of people and welfare to led them to their major effective purpose to be gained
to enhance product & source effectiveness. In this, information regulation is very necessary to be

undertaken to make any outcomes more fair and relevant to be published in given period of time.
In my personal point of view, this has to be necessary to undertake role of technological scenario
into the health and car sector to enhance sources or generation of business sources along with
development of it for people welfare & also with purpose to earn business effectiveness for the
longer period of time. Also, sources of information generation is necessary into the context of
this health and social sector to led easy access to the people, either in context of their own source
or generation of values in that context.
Also, in my opinion, health and social sector is very active phase and also it has its own
level of pro-active working to led development of the people and empowering society to act in
pure and reflective manner to generate more suitable results over a period of time.
In reflective manner, it has been noticed that, strategic planning and process of an
implementation in the health and social care needs proper and effective generation of an
information it for purpose to enrich into this sector to accomplish business growth and also led
the en-richness in engaging the role of health and social care in the given period of time.
