Explain what type of organisation it is?
National Guard Health Affairs is a medical complex that is a hybrid structure of different
medical cities located in Riyadh, Jeddah, Al-Hasa, Medina and Saudi Arabia. The biggett
medical facility is King Abdulaziz Medical City's Hospital which belongs to the statutory sector
financially as the funding is done by the government of Saudi Arabia and it has a private care
system. Founded in the year 1983 in capital city of Saudi Arabia, it became a renowned center at
global level in separation surgery area (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, (2020).
What type of services does the organisation provide?
This organization provides a wide variety of services such as dental care, hospitality services and
liver transplant, intensive care, oncology, medical imaging, paediatrics, surgery as well as
obstetrics and gynecology. The chosen field of my career is in Paediatric-oncology (Professional
Connections, 2020). These services typically result in long term benefits and cater the customers
with even through online services, where everything is available at one click. It has also
completed 48th procedure to separate conjoined twins. Proper guidance of health care
professionals is also available on portal which can help the patients on immediate basis. The
mobile applications are also a good source of medium to help their patients on easy go (GMA,
2018).
To whom do they provide services?
The hospital provides services to all class if sections, whether it’s elderly, adults, younger
children at basic level. Further, elders are given extreme support, internal care who is suffering
from severe diseases. Healthcare professionals from 45 countries have been engaged in

What type of experience/qualifications do you need to work for this organisation/sector?
The qualifications that are required for becoming eligible are Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or
equivalent or diploma in nursing. Apart from this current licensure as a registered nurse is also
mandatory. With a work experience of minimum 3 years in the country where an individual has
registered and additional requirements must also be fulfilled if transferred to special units. The
special certification is also required for a particular assignment like fit with health social program
(Professional Connections, 2020).
