Main findings
The major findings that had been evaluated by conducting qualitative research and
collecting data through primary method i.e. interview, it has been analysed that surviving in fear
due to maltreatment and belief unsecured all the times into all settings was most common across
the services. Most of the service users that are selected for the interview are women hence, the
findings are related to the women's experiences as well as concepts of thinking. Majority of staff
members reported feeling disempowered, lacking behind in confidence level, afraid to take
accountabilities of the tasks that requires to be performed along with less level of assurance in
order to exponent one-on-one to communicate out loud about the abominable practices into the
whole system as well as in mental health or social work within which blame culture exists
(Brown and McCann, 2019).
As per the service users, there should be detailed intensity over user-led hindrance and

experience and stigma faced by them in getting health care, participant state that their quality of
life is impacted due to stigma faced by them from healthcare worker. Author have focused on
secondary data to understand rise of stigma in health care area, focusing on cases recorded for
stigma and understanding role of path analysis in the process.

1. Describe the main findings
Finding from this article or research have demonstrated that care home abuse is one of the
serious issue, nearly 72.9% of participant responded they were witness of abuse. Number of
abuse recorded have increased over time when no action is taken to control abuse in the home
care setting (Moore, 2019). All participant actively provided there respond, nearly 74% of
witness state that abuse was done by proprietor or manager of care home who used their power
and position to abuse their member and client. Finding from this research clearly state that
organization fail to keep their culture healthy, report of abuse state true nature of the care home
and their worker who abuse their client. Many cases or abuse have not been recorded by the
organization because of their image, some participant provided these informations as they were
abused by the organization and its member. Witness state that there was no action taken by the
organisation and its member which give rise to abuse case in home care.

2. Describe the approach the communicator/s have used to carry out the research:
Every author adopts one approach before starting their research allowing them to collect more
accurate and relevant data, for the completion of this research, author have adopted both,
quantitative and qualitative approach (Cr, 2020). Quantitative approach means author have used
statistical data to represent their finding whereas qualitative approach allow author to focus on
interview with participant and understanding their viewpoint. This study focus mainly on
primary data which is been collected by the author with the help of questionnaire and direct
interview with participant. Author have distributed nearly 391 questionnaires in which, 285
returned with clear indication that participant has witnessed the abuse in care home. Author used
qualitative approach when they reach 11 newly appointed staff of care home. Author have also
focused on established data that indicate abuse has taken rapid rise in care home where member
and client been abused by the care home owner or manager.
3. Identify the key evince of this approach:
Approach is one of the most important element in the research that allow author to collected data
according to research topic, for the completion of this research, author have used both primary
and secondary approach allowing them to collect established and new data. Focusing of
implication of primary approach, author have distributed 391 questionnaires to gather new data.
285 responded provided information about witness of abuse in home care (Kumar, 2018).
Outcome of primary data allow researcher to collect relevant data using both quantitative and
qualitative approach. Author also have focused on secondary data that allow them to review
those facts and details of abuse faced by previous member or witness. Still, a significant number
of data is not been recorded. Both primary and secondary data provide right and useful
information about the topic, to collect experience of abuse, author have focused on primary data
where correct number of abuse can be recorded.
4. State how this problem solving could be used in health and social care practice:
This research will be beneficial in future practice in healthcare and social care because author
have chosen one of the major topic and collected data with one of the most reliable method.
Finding and conclusion of this research can be used in health and social care practice, reviewer
can understand abuse is major issued faced by almost every member that is connected with care

home. This study can be used in understand and collected data of abuse recorded, author have
collected information or finding with the help of primary data which means this data will remain
new and can be used in further studies (Rinjit, 2020). However, no solution is been crafted to
address the issue of abuse in care home which means this research have limitation while using it
in health and social care practice. This research has drawn was drawn with the help of experience
provided by the witness, further action and intervention can be drawn with this data.
