 Social care refer to the help provided by health & social care employees in terms of
emotional and physical support.
 They play vital role in society, on the basis of few pointers the main role of these people
were described where their help is needed.
 Health and social care worker provide care for people who are facing health issues and
challenges of old age.
 They work within its role in context to medication management and to assist with
medications as part of patients personal care, once people had assessed by registered doctor
or nurse.
 Help people with personal care practices such as dressing, washing and eating food.
 Their support will greatly cater for well-being of overall community or society around them,
social & health care workers act as brokers, friends and advocates along with health care
aides to patients with different needs.

Responsibilities of health and social
care worker-
 Employee in this sector is responsible for providing families, groups and individuals help with
