INTRODUCTION
The support work of the health and the social care plays a very crucial and the vital role
in the development and growth of the public and social health care. They provide the vital
support that is been seek by the employee's of the health and social care. They will provide the
effective help, safety and security to meet the requirements of the health and social care firm.
This report will cover the importance and the various operations that are been followed up by the
support staff of the company that helps in the effective handling of the various operations in the

The non direct employee's of the firm will lay a wide variety of the operations that will
help in the better management of the various operations of the company and fulfil their as well as
the clients or the customer's requirements in an effective management (Baldwin, 2016). They
will help in the various operations of the company and meet the requirements of the customer's
in a very effective manner. They will look after the better management of the various operations
in the health and social care such as:
Health: The maintenance and the administrator will look after the better handling of the
various health and social care operations at the organisation. The drivers will look after
the effective management of the transportation of the patients in the organisation. The
caterers will look after the effective providing of healthy, safe and hygienic food. The
maintenance staff at the nursing or the residential care home will look after the effective
management and disposal of harmful and hazardous waster products that are been
generated at the nursing or the residential home (Shardlow and et.al., 2015).
Safety and security: The guards and the safety employee's that are been employed at the
health and social care will look after the effective providing of the safety and the security

of employee's and the patients of the organisation and meet their requirements in a very
effective manner. They will check the callers, ensure the effective and safe handling of
the harmful chemicals and the equipments, prevent people from going to the unsafe areas
around the nursing home and ensure the effective checking at the entry and exit of the
individual person (Knott and Scragg, 2016).
P5 Importance of the supervision and management of non direct care workers.
The supervision and the management of the various operations will play a very crucial
and effective role in the various operations of non direct workers that works in the health and
social care services that supports better handling of various operations at work place. It helps in
the effective building of relationship and helps in maintaining a regularity at health and social
care which helps in effective growth of the organisation (Clouder and et.al., 2016).
Besides this, it helps in effective handling of feedback and issues of the patients or the
clients and increase the customer satisfaction level and better retention of the workers in the
organisation. Other than this, it aids to build a better relationship with the employee's as well as
the clients or the patients of Nursing home.
