• Sociology of health refers to a state of an individual to remain physically,
mentally and emotionally well-being.
• It basically emphasize an importance of being than disease free along with
recognising that a healthy body depends upon a health atmosphere as well as
stable mind.

Different between biomedical and social models
• The biomedical & social models focus on health
of people but there are several differences

illness but social models also prefer to focus on
