ABSTRACT
Well-being is very important part of human life, it reflects the quality of life that ant
individual live. Students are the future of nation, their knowledge and innovative thoughts can
support in the growth of country. But in the recent time, universities are putting pressure of these
learners, apart from this family pressure, study pressure increase stress level of students. This
impact on their mental condition (Arena and et.al, 2015). There are many technologies that
emphases on mental status of individuals and support them in examining their health problems.
That suggest the student the best clinical services through which they can improve their health
and can live a healthy life. The study discusses about effectiveness of information technology in
preventing students from bad mental status (Lewallen and et.al, 2015). Research discusses
various issues that are faced by learners and to what extend problems impact on their mental
condition.
Furthermore, use of advance technologies and mobile applications are being described in
this study. By this way individual can get to know technologies that can support them in
improving their well-being. In addition, comparison of prevention focused app and mental health
disorder app is discusses in this research project. It describes need of these applications for
students and their effectiveness.

INTRODUCTION
Digital technologies are changing scenario of the market, now each firm no matter in
which sector it is operating are taking support of information technologies and applications.
Educational field is the most important sector, students have to face may challenges while
studying in the universities. Study pressure, exam pressure, family presser create situation of
depression and stress for them. In such condition they some time fail to react normally because
these anxieties impact on their mental status to great extent (Stiglitz and Rosengard, 2015).
Adjusting into new environment, academic pressured are completely new experience for
learners. This affect emotionally and psychologically to the learners when they are inside the
classroom.
There are various issues that are faced by students in universities during their studies:
depression, stress, tension etc. These problems not only affect emotionally but also impact on
mental student of learners. Over the past few years many cases occur in which students have
tried to commit subside. That shows the extent to which learners are under pressure during their
educational time. Mobile applications and advance technologies play significant role in their life
and support the learners in preventing them from such type of mental problems (Wager, K. A.,
Lee and Glaser, 2017). In the year 2012 many applications have come in the market that have
supported in relaxing the learners and changing their mind. Apple is considered as one of the
best mobile firm which provide attractive application. Company is continuously working in
developing such health applications that can support the students in preventing them from such
type of tension and stress. In the modern era wide number of population use smart phones in
which they get facilities of such type of applications (Wager, Lee and Glaser, 2017).
Many people are now downloading such type of applications from play store that can
support them in improving their mental status and minimize their mental issues such as
loneliness, and pressure. In the recent time, companies are concentrating on innovation and
government are tries to stable the educational sector. They are focusing to improve well being of
learners by using advance technologies. Social media, internet, health applications, online
diagnosis method etc. are various tools that can be used by students to prevent themselves from
suffering from mental issues. Health application are the tools that are used by students of
universities, whenever they feel that they are suffering from pressure and tension then they take
support of this application to measure the extent to which they are ill (Fenwick and Dahlgren,

2015). This supports in taking timely action to improve their health conditions. Such mobile
applications pay attention on personal information of the person, life style and self-help
supporting material and clinical services. By using this application individual can get to know
about their lacking points in daily life and what measures are required to be taken to improve
their mental condition. By this way individual can analyses their daily routine, life style, habits
and trends. By recording these data student can take clinical services to improve their well-being
and prevent themselves from various health issues.
In the country there are many people those who study in universities. Engineering,
medical, computer science etc. are complicated studies and individual has to give more time
(Information and communication technology in education, 2017). For studying well learners loss
their social connection which create more pressure on the students. Previous records show that
students are the people those who suffer from educational pressure and stress. Increasing tuition
fees is another major reason of tension for them that impact on their health to great extent.
The main aim of this study is to identify effectiveness of information technologies to
reduce stress level of students and prevent them from mental illness. In this study special focus is
on students of universities. It will emphases on well being of learners and their mental status
improvements. Furthermore, various technologies will be explained that can support the students
from prevention from depression, stress, pressure etc (The Impact of Digital Technology on
Learning: A Summary for the Education Endowment Foundation, 2012).
Report will have different chapters. First part of the study would be introductory part in
which brief overview of subject will be described. Next part would be of literature review in
which scholar will review articles of other authors on the same subject. This would help in
developing understanding about health in classroom with technologies and applications. Next
section would be of research methodology in this scholar will explain various tool that are being
used for conducting this study in effective manner. Furthermore, researcher will give proper
justification of selected methodology. After that ethical issues, professional aspects will be
discussed. Next part would be of results and discussion and at the end scholar will draw
conclusion.

AIM AND OBJECTIVES
Aim
Digital technologies have become the essential pat for improving well-being of individuals.
Internet has become the most important source that supports the care providers to provide quality
care services to those patients those who are unable to come to hospitals frequently. Video
conferencing is the most common example of digital technology in health and social care sector.
The main aim of the study is to identify effectiveness of implementing information
technologies and mobile applications in the Universities for students. Implementation of these
latest technologies is beneficial for them, they can track their condition, improve and keep level
of well-being. By using these information technologies students can detect sign of illness and can
get appropriate treatment before condition gets worst. Most of the students suffer from anxiety,
stress, these impact on their mental status. Use of information technologies and mobile
applications can help the students in taking measures on time.
Objectives
In order to achieve the aim, following objectives are taken into consideration:
To identify various issues that are faced by students related to their health.
The focus of researcher would be to find out issues that are currently faced by students in
the universities that impact on their health. In the recent time learners are facing huge
complications that impact on their mental status due to which they fail to perform well in their
studies. By identifying various issues, researcher will be able to provide ways through which
students can deal with these problems by using information technologies and mobile
applications.
To analyses impact of depression, stress on studies and mental status of students
Here the focus of researcher would be on impact of depression, stress on mental status of
the learners would be explained in this objective. It will support in measuring the extent to which
these problems affect the individual and how person should deal with these problems.
To identify various technologies that can support the students in dealing with depression,
stress.
The aim is to find various technologies that are helpful for the students in dealing with
issues such as depression, stress, tension etc. This objective will focus on various applications

and technologies that focus on prevention of mental health of students so that they can
concentrate on their studies.
To investigate effectiveness of information technologies and mobile application in improving
well being of students
Here the purpose of investigation to measure the effectiveness of various technologies in
preventing the students from depression and stress in universities. This will support in identify
how these technologies can be better for the learners in dealing with the mental problems of
students.
To compare prevention focused app and mental health disorder app and need of these
applications
Here the focus of researcher would be on the comparison between prevention focused
app and mental health disorder application. Furthermore, need of these applications would be
explained in this objective.
