and models of health promotion.
Government has made lot of strategies so that people could
get to know various side effects of smoking and they can
stop smoking. There are different models which has been
implemented by the government so that people reduce the
habit of smoking.

Objective: Introduced to ban the the smoking of the
citizens in the society.

• Traditional,
• Humanist,
• Radical humanistic;
• Radical structure.

It is the government only which will make sure that the
citizens of the country are free from any diseases and
spreading awarenesses is the only way to make things
better and stop people from smoking.

and can ban the smoking of the cigarettes at public
places.

Role of professionals have in meeting
government targets for health promotion.
Government has the roles and responsibilities to make
laws, policies and bring campaigns focusing on the
hazards of smoking but these things cannot gain success
without the support of the health care professionals.
