Usefulness- This information system and software tools are useful because it helps to
collect enormous data that are generated on daily basis through various sources and store
data (Raghupathi and Raghupathi 2014). The data can be managed efficiently and
effectively to be used for future operations. Some other benefits of information system
are communication, creation of new type of jobs. Information system can be considered
to be cost effective and it can also increase productivity in many cases.
Business intelligence
Information system- Decision support system, Executive information system,
Management Information system, Geographic Information System, Online Analytical
Processing and Customer Relationship Management.
Customer Relationship management- It refers to the practices and guidelines which is
followed by an organization while interacting with various customers(Ashrafi, Kelleher

and Kuilboer 2014.). CRM mainly works for improving the experience of large number
of customers.
Decision Support System – A decision support system is nothing but a computer based
information system which is used for decision making in an organization or a business. A

Management Information system- Management information system provides business
owners to process and lastly interpret data. There are large of number of benefits for the
use of MIS in health sector like: better decision and it acts like integrated system.
Software tools- SAP business Intelligence, Sisense, Looker, GoodData, Tableau, Domo
and Cife
Usefulness- The information system and software tools are useful because it helps to
report, and analyze faster and accurately, helps in better decision making (Ashrafi,
Kelleher and Kuilboer 2014.). The other usefulness are improved data quality, employee
and customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, competitive advantage and revenues.

efficiency of a business, improvises patient service. It can also help in better

system, operating theater management system, booking management system,

The current software and tools used in Healthcare industry are traditional decision
making systems and expert systems (Manogaran et al. 2017).
The electronic health record system are better than traditional decision system due to
more detailed analysis and outcome of result, however, there are risks related to privacy
and confidentiality of data in electronic health record.
The risk assessment is better than expert system due to more planning and development
of risk analysis in case of disasters, however, there are risks related to it and they are time
consuming and complexity of risk assessment application.
On comparing window cleaned by hand with cleaning it by robot can easily result in
increase of unemployment rate in hospital (Ashrafi, Kelleher and Kuilboer 2014.). With
the growth of robots, it can be easily seen that human labor is not required in factories,
manufacturing plants and lastly in hospital.
Suppose a man working in hospital will lose his job after the implementation of robots.
We cannot compensate him as this thing is considered to one of the negative part of the
technology.
