Week 1/2
The hypothetical business that have been selected include safe and precision healthcare.
This particular business would aim in collaborating the services provided by a healthcare along
with technologies. The problems that would be solved by this business include keeping tracks of
all the patients that would visit the healthcare institute. Usually in other healthcare institutes, they
keep track of patients manually by maintaining files, these results in misplaced files which again
lead to wrong treatment provided to the patients. This particular issue would be mitigated with
the help of implementing technology in its operations. This factor would provide safe as well as
precise healthcare facilities for patients because usage of certain technologies would help the
organization in keeping the personal details of the doctors as well as patients safe from the reach
of hackers and cyber criminals. The usage of these technologies would help in introducing a
precise healthcare facility because various technologies have the ability to detect major diseases
which cannot be detected by other professionals. The technologies also provide various
suggestions on the medications that could be provided to a particular patient on the basis of the
disease.
We would be providing healthcare services to people. The services provided by our
business would solve the problem of time consumption in a particular treatment. An example of
this includes the usage of laser treatment. In various cases, performing a surgery on a patient
proves to be very risky, in these cases, the laser treatment proves to be helpful.
The information systems that would be used by this business include clinical as well as
administrative systems for the purpose of managing patient details on the level of administration
and financial system for the purpose of tracking revenue and managing billing submissions. The

emerging capabilities that would be provided by this information system include the better record
keeping of the patients as well as employees. The financial system would help the organization in
keeping a track on their investments as well as record the revenue earned by them.

The three trends that would be used in the business are cloud, internet of things and
augmented reality. The usage of cloud would provide the healthcare institute to provide
integrated as well as efficient health care of patients, provide better management of data and
many more. Cloud technology would offer a particular access point to the information related to
patient, this allows numerous doctors to view various lab results or consult notes regarding
patients. Collaboration related to treatment plans would happen with the use of a single click and
the data would be transferred instantly. Instead of waiting on for another practice for sending
over the results of the patients, doctors would be allowed to dedicate more time on the patient
care as well as treatment options. Internet of things would be implemented within the
organization in order to gain various advantages; these advantages include help provided in
cancer treatment, Smart Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) as well as insulin pens, closed-
loop delivery of insulin, connected inhalers, ingestible sensors. Some more advantages include
connected contact lenses, application for monitoring depression, coagulation testing and many
more. The implementation of internet of things would make the process of healthcare much
easier.
The usage of augmented reality would help the healthcare industry in numerous ways,
such as improving access, boosting training, and speeding up the adoption of the new
technology, assisting the practices, empowering patients, delivering treatment and many more.

professionals along with the institute need to apply their time, talent and energy for solving, for
this purpose, the technology has been playing an important role. There are number of
technologies that are being applied to the delivery of healthcare, augmented reality is considered
as one of the most exciting one. This is referred to as the ability to seamlessly blend direct
sensory experience of the real world along with the power as well as potential of digital
information technology has been groundbreaking.

The cyber security measures that would be taken in the business are pulling up a firewall.
The reason to choose it includes defining security needs, researching solutions that would match
the specified needs and installation, maintenance and configuration of the firewalls. Before
installing a particular firewall solution, it would help to define exactly the level of the IT network
security necessary for the organization. At first the solutions would be examined and it would be
noted what presently works and what does not work and the areas need to be improved. Next the
IT department would be asked for data regarding the data transactions without the company’s
network where the weak links are present and what are the sensitive areas that need protection.
