INTRODUCTION
The common health that has been faced by the Australian adults that is the hip fracture because
of falling. This not only affecting the sufferers but also the caregivers. In my opinion, working
with the adolescent poses many difficulties in relation to the therapeutic adherence and in the
setting of the human service. As I deals with the middle age, elderly and the young people on a
routine basis (Taylor and et.al., (2015)). My perception with regard to the elder adult patients is
that they are moody, argumentative, frustrated and the rebellious. Rosa Calapari, a woman
suffering from the hip fracture issue is also an adult, when I deal or work with her I feel irritated
and could not facilitate my best in managing the weird behaviour of her which in turn leads me
in feeling stressed. I can see that this frustration and the stress causing to me is indirectly
impacting the relationship or the interactions between me and Rosa relating to its health issues
causing changing behaviour and the irritating behaviour.
I faced many challenges while working with Rosa that includes its stubborn nature and not
listening to the directions given by me. In managing the risky behaviour of Rosa against its
health, I had been struggling in understanding the reason behind the dominating nature of her on
its peers and even after the issue she continued for its binge drinking habits. In the stage of
adolescent I had analysed that the individual behaves more immaturely which I had faced as a
challenge with Rosa as well. I felt like I would have to become reluctant for providing the care
taking services with empathy, even after the instructions of my, Rosa doesn't consider her future
health and keeps on seeking the instant gratification and the acceptance from her peers. More of
my stress relates with the fact that she was least bothered of her fracture and does everything that
she wants to do even it resulting as harmful to her (Ardakani & Yang, (2016)). One of the
biggest challenge that is posed in taking the care of the adults is that I could not be able to
explain them as difficulty in communication and understanding is been generated between me
and Rosa. I could not be able to tolerate the behaviour of Rosa as she arguments even in taking
the medicine and the lack of trust was not existed between me and her which also posed a big
challenge for me to handle. At last these challenges forces me to become judgemental and strict
with the Rosa which in turn negatively impacted my continued interaction with Rosa.
For mitigating the challenges, I change my perception and thought of dealing the situation withj
calmness. Firstly I tried to understand the needs and the problems of the adults that they are
facing and accepting the fact that the adults faces at the adolescence. I accepted that this age is

the time of experimentation and the exploration. I tried to adjusting my expectations in
accordance with the behaviour of the adult as I cannot expect that they will be behaving and
thinking as the young people thinks. I had treated every adolescent as a person and had provided
the best services as a person I could by ensuring that they do not feel any personal bias on the
basis of my life experiences in their case. I stop taking personally the unfair behaviour and the
irritated statements that is said by the adolescent or Rosa which helped me a lot in staying calm
and in eliminating the stressful conditions (Nourollah & Aliemrani, (2015)). I had tried for
changing my own thinking accordingly as per the Rosa which enabled me in mitigating my
stressful reactions or the frustrations. This leads me in emphasizing on motivating, supporting
and educating the adults with empathy by keeping the view in the mind that this could play a
crucial role in coping up with their health plan. This helps in empowering the adults as the
existing knowledge of them builds by this. The main objective of my is to enhance my reputation
and the trust within our relationship through inviting their suggestions and effective
communication in context of both verbal and non-verbal with the elder adolescents in the human
services that are setted for making better future.
