How health care agencies provide support to young people and others during the pandemic
The following project will lay emphasis on the ways through which health care agencies
are been involved in providing support to the young and other people during the time of
pandemic. The COVID-19 pandemic means that many of us are staying at home and doing less
in terms of social interactions and exercise. This can have a negative effect on your physical and
mental health. It has been analysed that the whole world is been suffering from the COVID-19
pandemic and health care agency in this have one of the major role for providing social and
economic support to the young people. It has been analysed that the agencies have been involved
in making sure that the anxiety and depression which is been faced by the most of the people
during pandemic is reduced (Jensen and et.al., 2019). The agencies are been involved in
providing the guidelines related to maintaining safety needs of the people and providing them
training related to how to reduce the impact of corona virus. Various initiatives have been taken
by so many agencies so that the health outcome of an individual can be increased. This has
assisted them in enhancing well-being and quality of life of people who have been suffering from
the COVID-19 pandemic. The various agencies includes are as follows:
Tele-Health: This agency is been involved in delivering safe care services to the patients, young
and other people during COVID-19 pandemic (Indra, Urmela and Naveen, 2019). The services
offered by Tele-Health can assist in mitigating the risk related to virus by maintaining the
measures related to social distancing. More safer options related to HCP can be explored so that
the risk of virus can be reduced down. They are also providing young adults knowledge about
how to be physically more active and be engaged in regular exercise so that the depression and
mental stress which has been faced by them during pandemic situation can be reduced down.
This will assist them in staying away from problems like depression and anxiety.
Head-space: The agency is been involved in providing guidelines related to how to stay away
from depression during the time of pandemic and changing the youth mentality related to it. It
can be really stressful during the time of outbreak of Novel Corona virus and the most affected
by it will be young people. Head-space agency has provided various tips which can assist in

reducing down the tension and stress faced by most of the people during pandemic. They are
motivating people to be involved in activities which can assist them in keeping calm and happy
during the time of pandemic. This will assist them in reducing down their stress which has been
increasing because of the pandemic. They also have the online support facilities in which people
can call and take help if they have any type of suicidal tendencies.
