Introduction

Samuei paid cash for 3 discount-priced football tickets. He was given £4.20 change from
the three £50 notes he tendered. What was the price of each ticket?
Total cash paid by Samuei = £50 * 3 = £150
Change he got = £4.20
Total price of tickets = £ (150 – 4.20) = £145.8
Price of each ticket = £ (145.8/3) = £48.6
