REFLECTION
It was highly interesting for me to carry out the video presentation because it has built up
confidence in me to complete the project in a reliable and significant manner. In my presentation
I have made the video content which is precise and to the point which contains all the relevant
set of information associated with me taking care of the elderly people who has been suffering
from dementia (Gamble and Dening, 2017). At the time of giving presentation, I have engaged
the large number of audience to deliver the best possible presentation. At the time of giving
presentation I was highly enthusiastic and gained attention of the audience by being interactive.
It is the significant measure which helps me in taking care of the people as a nurse by observing
and also reporting the key potential signs which is mainly related with the dementia. Use of the
positive visualizations could be used which will further helped me in improving the presentation.
I have spoken clearly and loudly in order to reach out to the audience and make them understand
the main purpose of giving presentation (Goeman, King and Koch, 2016). I have made them
understood that the quality assistance and care has been provided to the elderly people who has
been suffering from dementia. I have complied with the equality act while providing personal
healthcare services. I have understood that, the equality act, 2010 is useful for protecting the
people who has been suffering from dementia which eventually helps in making reasonable
adjustment within the workplace organization to help the individual carry out their job. I have
also examined that, the Care act 2014, is a prominent framework which provide right set of
support and assessment to the people who has been suffering from dementia. I have given the
presentation by improving my ensuring that my body language is correct. I have ensured that my
presentation is short and cover all relevant aspects to take informed set of decision (Macaden,
2016). I have effectively developed the presentation in a concise and straightforward manner. I
have examined that, I have better communication skills which is useful in improving the better
care results and outcomes. I believe that, carrying out a role as a nurse has helped in advocating
in the best interest of the patients which is prominent in maintaining the dignity of the patient by
providing them with the best possible care treatment, results and outcomes (Robinson, 2015).
This video presentation and project will be useful in providing the health care education to the
patient and is prominent in providing counselling. I have been effectively carrying out the
physical set of exams and it has helped me analysing the emotional as well as physical needs of
the patient. I completely understand the needs of the patient by understanding their needs and
