LITERATURE REVIEW
According to the Johnson and et.al., (2018) one of the main causing factor of employees’
fatigue in healthcare sector is increasing risks of getting affected from infectious disease and lack
of motivation. In context of impacts of employees’ fatigue, it is stated by Bridgeman, Bridgeman
and Barone, (2018) that employees’ fatigue affect patients’ health as patients do not get
qualitative healthcare services. It increases patients’ stay rate and decrease life expectancy.
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
Research methodology refers a process of identifying, processing and selecting accurate
information about research topic. There are number of elements of research methodology that
can help researchers in accomplishing goals and collecting data (Mohajan, 2018).
Research type: Research type refers data collection form and on this basis, it is being
divided into 2 types such as qualitative and quantitative. When data are being collected in textual
or feelings form then it is known as qualitative and for this study qualitative will be conducted
for getting data in depth manner.
Research approach: Inductive and deductive are 2 research approaches and selection of
approach depends on the type of research. This study is qualitative so, researcher will select
inductive approach because of its suitability with qualitative. By this approach, researcher can
increase his knowledge as he needs to generate brand new theory.
Research philosophy: Interpretivism and positivism are 2 main philosophies. For this
study, interpretivism will be selected because it is suitable with inductive research approach.
With interpretivism, researcher can know views of individuals as what they think about the topic
and it can help in accomplishing goal.
Data collection: Primary and secondary are 2 data collection types. For this study secondary
data will be gathered because of the nature of research topic. Other reason of selecting this type
of data is: Covid-19 restrictions (Johhson and Sylvia, 2018). Journal articles, company reports
and case studies will be analysed for gathering secondary data.
Data analysis: For analysing qualitative or non-numerical data, qualitative data analysis tool
will be selected. Thematic analysis tool can help in knowing accurate information and it is the
reason of selecting this tool.
