INTRODUCTION
The value ethics is referred to as the basic fundamental belief of the person with specific
guiding principles. This is useful in determining the individual what is right and what is wrong.
The code of conduct is the defined collection of the rules and regulations which states what is the
expected and acceptable behaviour within the healthcare. This study will highlight on examining
the key concepts of value ethics or codes of conduct for the health care professional influencing
the multidisciplinary inter-professional work.
MAIN BODY
Moyo and et.al., (2016) sought to establish the fact that, Code of conducts is significant
in setting specific standards of conduct with the support of healthcare workers and practitioners.
It is useful in outlining the attitude and behaviour of the individual to carry out the activities in
the best interest and practice. There are specific set of core values like human dignity, honesty,
autonomy, social justice and integrity (NAHQ Code of Ethics for Healthcare Quality
Professionals and Code of Conduct, 2020). Code of ethics is useful in clarifying the specific set
of roles and responsibilities to provide the guidance to carry out work. The internalization and
acquisition of the values are centre in promoting the healthcare and nursing profession. The
healthcare profession offers ethical set of principles which aids within the care quality
professionals. The health and social care practitioner are obliged to provide protection and
effective care to the patient in the hands of care professionals. It is referred to as a
multidisciplinary lens which is useful in viewing various range of complex issues to take
appropriate set of recommendation for completing specific treatment of the patient with the
utmost degree of accuracy and efficiency. There are specific set of ethical principles which
mainly includes beneficence, confidentiality, autonomy, non- maleficence, fidelity, procedural
justice, fair treatment, etc. Monrouxe and Rees, (2017) argued that, complying with the ethical
code of conduct is useful as it helps in improving the health outcomes and is significant in
enhancing the satisfaction among the clients. The multi-disciplinary team is significant as it
helps in conveying various set of benefits to the health and social care practitioner and the
patients. This eventually leads to improved set of outcomes and high degree of enhanced
satisfaction among the clients. It also results in efficiently using the resources with high degree
of enhanced job satisfaction among the multi-disciplinary team. The ethical code of conduct
within the healthcare is significant in clearly laying down the rules and provide systematic

carrying out the vets possible care to the patients.

and cooperative work. Ethical values and standards within the medical care is useful in

dignity, human relationship, honestly, autonomy within the decision making, precision, accuracy
at the time of providing acre, committent, professional competency, self discipline, sympathy,

an ethical manner. The nursing theory and value theory are the key theories associated with the
value and ethics. Ethical values and standards within the medical care is useful in complying
with the key social values and morals like human rights. The professional code of ethics is
significant in protecting the care needs of the patients seeking care.
