INTRODUCTION
The value ethics is referred to as the basic fundamental belief of the person with specific
guiding principles. This is useful in determining the individual what is right and what is wrong.
The code of conduct is the defined collection of the rules and regulations which states what is the
expected and acceptable behaviour within the healthcare. This study will highlight on examining
the key concepts of value ethics or codes of conduct for the health care professional influencing
the multidisciplinary inter-professional work.
MAIN BODY
Moyo and et.al., (2016) sought to establish the fact that, Code of conducts is significant
in setting specific standards of conduct with the support of healthcare workers and practitioners.
It is useful in outlining the attitude and behaviour of the individual to carry out the activities in
the best interest and practice. There are specific set of core values like human dignity, honesty,
autonomy, social justice and integrity (NAHQ Code of Ethics for Healthcare Quality
Professionals and Code of Conduct, 2020). Code of ethics is useful in clarifying the specific set
of roles and responsibilities to provide the guidance to carry out work. The internalization and
acquisition of the values are centre in promoting the healthcare and nursing profession. The
healthcare profession offers ethical set of principles which aids within the care quality
professionals. The health and social care practitioner are obliged to provide protection and
effective care to the patient in the hands of care professionals. It is referred to as a
multidisciplinary lens which is useful in viewing various range of complex issues to take
appropriate set of recommendation for completing specific treatment of the patient with the
utmost degree of accuracy and efficiency. There are specific set of ethical principles which
mainly includes beneficence, confidentiality, autonomy, non- maleficence, fidelity, procedural
justice, fair treatment, etc. Monrouxe and Rees, (2017) argued that, complying with the ethical
code of conduct is useful as it helps in improving the health outcomes and is significant in
enhancing the satisfaction among the clients. The multi-disciplinary team is significant as it
helps in conveying various set of benefits to the health and social care practitioner and the
patients. This eventually leads to improved set of outcomes and high degree of enhanced
satisfaction among the clients. It also results in efficiently using the resources with high degree
of enhanced job satisfaction among the multi-disciplinary team. The ethical code of conduct
within the healthcare is significant in clearly laying down the rules and provide systematic

groundwork for the pre- emptive warning. It is useful in setting specific set of standards for
carrying out the vets possible care to the patients.
Rao, (2020, June) sought to establish the fact that, the nursing theory is significantly
based on the scientific knowledge associated with the nursing care interactions with ethical
content. It takes into consideration various specific set of ethical issues which mainly includes
right of the person, personhood, right of society, right of society and personal integrity. The
nursing theory is considered to be highly significant in designing the specific inter- professional
relationships between the care practitioner and is useful in providing the best possible high
quality care to the patients. Grönlund and et.al., (2016, December) argued that, Value theory
comprises of range of values and ethics to improve the nursing practice and helps in positively
influencing the quality of life and health of the patient. The key for concepts which has been
linked with the nursing paradigm mainly includes personhood, environment, health and nursing.
Subsequently, Zonneveld and et.al., (2018) argued that, ethical standards and values within the
care profession is useful because it helps in significantly promoting the value of collaborative
and cooperative work. Ethical values and standards within the medical care is useful in
complying with the key social values and morals like human rights, social responsibility, patient
safety, compliance and patient welfare. For example, the ethical values like privacy, human
dignity, human relationship, honestly, autonomy within the decision making, precision, accuracy
at the time of providing acre, committent, professional competency, self discipline, sympathy,
etc. are the key significant measure which has significant degree of influence on the delivery of
health and social care (NAHQ Code of Ethics for Healthcare Quality Professionals and Code of
Conduct, 2020).
Stolt and et.al., (2018) examined the fact that, complying with the ethics and code of
conduct tends to highly influence the multidisciplinary inter- professional work because it is
useful in preventing the medical errors and is significant in improving the health outcome of the
patient. This can be attained by using reduced degree of healthcare cost. The professional code
of ethics is significant in protecting the care needs of the patient by delivering the best possible
care services in the multidisciplinary inter -professional team. Elzamzamy and Keshavarzi,
(2019) stated that, complying with the value ethics and code of conduct is significant and tends
to largely influence the multidisciplinary inter -professional team in order to improve the
outcomes of the patient and is also significant in improving the relationship with few degree of

preventable errors. Value ethics within the inter professional education is useful in enhancing the
technical as well as the professional skills and values among the care practitioners. It is useful in
reducing the healthcare cost within the system. The health and social care practitioner must
comply with the safe environment of care and helps in minimizing the risk within the healthcare.
CONCLUSION
This study concludes that, Code of conducts is useful in outlining the attitude and
behaviour of the social worker. The ethics and code of conduct helps in providing
multidisciplinary lens which is useful in providing the best possible treatment to the patients in
an ethical manner. The nursing theory and value theory are the key theories associated with the
value and ethics. Ethical values and standards within the medical care is useful in complying
with the key social values and morals like human rights. The professional code of ethics is
significant in protecting the care needs of the patients seeking care.
