MAIN BODY
Evidence based practices (EBP): It can be defined as integration of the individual
clinical expertise with the available the best external clinical evidence in form of patient value
and research evidences into the process of decision making for care of the patient. In the nursing
practices it can be defines as integrating the best available evidences in guiding the nursing care
and improvement of patients outcomes (Issues in Defining and Applying Evidence-Based
Practices Criteria for Treatment, 2018). This is an approach for solving the problems in clinical
practices and administrative issues. This is important in the nursing practice as providing
opportunities of the nursing care to be more individualized effective, efficient and dynamic.
Which enhances and maximize the clinical judgment. The nurses keep a pace with the latest
technologies and take advantages from the new development of knowledge in providing care and
support services.
The personal area passion with specialty track is FAMILY NURSING
PRACTITIONERS (FNP) as this focus on providing service to both young and adults under
family focused settings with collaboration with other healthcare professional (Zeitlin and et.al,
2016). The is an area of passion for me to provide care and support services in under any
circumstances with maintaining health and wellness along with development of effective
treatment plans for particular acute and chronic diseases for patients.
For eg: As a FNP a case of a 5 year old child with chronic asthma came to me and the
child have suffered two sever asthma attack in past 45 days. The reason was pollen in the air he
was allergic to it. For developing a treatment plan for the child to cure the disease as if not
treated well he can not go out. For this I have consulted the seniors doctors of various hospital
along with this I have considered research of doctors over this disease on how to reduce the
effect of allergies and to mitigate changes of pollen allergies to the child. A plan was developed
to first reducing the effect of allergies in the boy and after than treatment of pollen allergy will
be started.
