INTRODUCTION
2.2 Analyse how organisational system and process managed to promote participation of users of
health care services.
In health care services it's the responsibility of service provider to listen the issues and
problems of the users, So that it helps patient to cover-up from his disease and inefficiency level.
It also provides patient support and emotional help to maintain its uncertain situation. This
present assignment is based on Freeman Hospital it gives best services to their patients according
to their requirements. On the another side, service provider must analysis the background of
patient to understand their personal life more effectively, it helps to plan individual level of
choices through which service provider can help them to overcome from its problems (Munn-
Giddings and Winter, 2013). Health care services is very important for the patient who suffers
from the major disease. The main aim of freeman Hospital is to give all necessary services or
support to the service user, so that its helps to improve their health issues rapidly. It is essential
to understand the users need and give treatment accordingly. It helps users to make better
understating with the organisation. Along with that to know more about patient Freeman also try
to collect information of patient from their family members and give treatment accordingly, this
helps to motivate service users and try to improve his confidence level. Freeman Hospital should
enhance individual empowerment in order to achieve the objectives, through which they get
more participation of service users in overall activities.
Promoting and influencing social participation among the users can be a difficult task. It
needs to adopt several action plans which improves participation as much as possible.
 Service provider may provide different choices and activities by which they feel comfort
and happy like meal facility, day to day activity so that they feel happy and healthy. This
process of Freeman Hospital get positive revert from patients So that, this process helps
to take initiate from the side of service users. These are the few methods by which
organisation promote user participation. On the other side service provider may give
breakfast meal lunch meal according to the preferable time for the users on the basis of
its choices. Service provider must growing trust level among service users through which
they get enhance their confidence level (Lowes and Hulatt, Eds, 2013). Adding to more
another activity through which they promote interest of users increased the social

participation of the service users. According to the case of Mr. Lang they want to cook a
meal rice and peas with jerk which is another choice given by the service users. But he
has a problem of swing mood and short tempered. In that case service provider needs to
adopt his problems and try to resolve them. Overall public must contribute their part on
social care sector to enhance health care services.(Brett, et.al, 2014).
 Service provider also make efforts to take participation level of service users by give
them chance to speak or may provide open discussion facility for all patients so that they
can share its own feelings with the all services providers.
2.3 Analyse the tension arise during balancing the rights of individuals
Health and safety of the user is very important for the Freeman Hospital. It is the major
factor of concern. It arises when service user enjoying their independence. During the under
observation generally service user wants to go out for the walk, there can be some problems arise
like, related to the health and safety according to the given example of Mr. Lang they want to
meal rice with Jark chicken during the process maybe they get hurt from the knife or may they
get hyper as according to their problem. Besides social care sector must adopt new policies and
plans to provide help and overall development of service users. (Lewis and West, 2014).
Organisation will face the many challenges during the fulfilling of their choices. Therefore, due
to some security reasons service provider is not able to full fill their service users choices. It
becomes more challenging situation for service providers to handle the uncertain situation. As
per the case of Mr. Lang Freeman hospital needs to adopt some activities which satisfies the
needs of service user to accomplish their target.
Another issue is related to the health and safety is as per the choice of service user that
they want to eat breakfast and lunch, dinner but some food is not good for the health, in that
condition service provider not able to serve those services which is not good for the health.
Furthermore, Another issue is sometimes organisation may not allow family and friends for some
safety reason. This should be an issue for the participation of service user.
These are some problems and issues which is facing by the service provider during the
treatment of service users. It is a kind of king term services for the patient of united kingdoms.
(Harris-Kojetin et.al, 2013).
It was analysing that during the treatment service provider facing many challenges to
handle the situation, As per the case it can be concluded that service facing issue while they deal

with patients and their changing moods. To handle the situation and challenges they need to
adopt some changes to make environment more positive and effective.
