INTRODUCTION
Health care organisation is one of the complex sector in Derbyshire or in across the
world. It is the biggest responsibilities of the social health care sector to identify the best possible
treatment which enhance the social health care services. Present report based on the low
employees in health care sector due to which issues has arisen. Furthermore, it will discuss about
internal and external factor which impact on the recruitment and selection in health care industry
and approaches to ensure individual work.
TASK 1
1.1 Explaining internal and external factors that drive the need for the planning of recruitment
and selection in health social care industry.
Internal factors which may affect recruitment selection process of social and health care industry.
Internal factors
Size of organisation: it is one of the most important factor which affect company human
resource department functions (Cascio, 2018). Size of the organisations is the one factor through
which employee turnover is highly increasing in care home. In order to grab the attention of
skilled or qualified people care homes needs to enhance business expansion and recruitment
planning or hiring process.
Recruiting policy: recruitment policy is the another factor which affect employees
perception and interest. Social home care needs to having productive and attractive human
resource policy in order to increase the staff members.
Image of organisation: Image and goodwill influence individual perception to select
organisation or not. Health care needs to having good image in the market thereby attract the best
possible resources.
Job Description: Job description influence individual by company policies roles and
responsibilities, salary, working environment etc.
External factors
Demographic factors: Demographic factors may affect person perception in order to
take the best sources model (Heraty, Michailova and Morley, 2016). It includes age, religion,
level, gender, occupation, economic status etc.

Labor laws: Labor law reflects the social and political environment. These laws dictate
the compensation, working environment and health regulations for different types of
employment.
Labor market: this market controls the demand and supply of labor. Care homes
required skilled and well qualified staff in terms of getting the best skills services. Care homes
needs to adopt effective environment in order to attract best sources towards the care homes.
1.3 Evaluate different approach in order to selection the best effective individual for work in

Approaches must be effective and quantitative in terms of selection the best skilled
technique. There are best some approaches of selection are giving below:
Job Posting: developing strategy on selection process is a part of recruitment process. It
must be approachable to employee or a candidate. It must be according to organisation needs and
profitable for candidate (Mahajan, 2015). If company needs care taker so they approach to
person who is well behaved and having experience to deal with patients etc. methods and sources
of job posting must be attractive which grab the attraction of applicant.

between employees related to work. They need to acquire to adopt some team management
activity in terms of making integrated environment which helps to retain the effective skilled
employees.
CONCLUSION
From the above section, It can be concluded that due to lack of effective employees and
shortage of working staff health care homes needs to adopt approaches and theories of section
and recruitment in terms of attract the best skilled candidates. They require the best approaches
and HR policies to retain talented employees as well.
