2. Performing critical incident analysis
In the above context, I will reflect on my group work and presentation. I was placed late
in the group and which was the issue I faced at group presentation. Placing late in the group
negatively impacts my image on other group members. Some members accepted my presence
while some members opposed it. This impacts on my psychology negatively. I would not able to
concentrate on my task and I was feeling depress and anxious. In health care professional
practices, an individual needs to be calm, serene and concentrates on the task which leads
towards his or success.
As some members does not prefer my involvement, they constantly disagreed with the
thoughts and opinion of mine. This sometime leads to stress, conflicts and disputes within the
team. This incident impacts on the continuous professional development practices. In order to
increase the effectiveness in the performance and move forwards towards continuous growth and
development, it is important for me to reflect upon the experience I get while working in the
group. While working in the group I faced many issues and difficulties as some team members
was not considering me a part of their team. According to Edelman, Mandle and Kudzma (2013),
while working in team, it is very important for group members to consider the thoughts and
opinions of each and every individual. This can leads to minimisation of conflicts and increase
the chances of success. For health care professional, it is essential for the individual and health
care professionals to consider the opinions of team. It was very difficult for me to adjust in the
team and group efficiently. I have faced many issues that creates stress and anxiety in my mind.
The members who were not happy with my presence always tried to make me feel lower by not
listening to my reviews and opinions. This impacts on my performance negatively. I was not able
to concentrates on the issues and thus arguing with group members constantly. The team leader
conducts a team meeting in which he introduces everyone appropriately. The issues other
members with me got resolved and thus, other members accepted me as a part of their team.
Thus, from this it implies that in order to accomplish the desired task effectively and efficiently,
the team members needs to work collectively and collaboratively. Team work is very important,
not only in health care profession, but in all other professions. In Continuing Professional

things better.
In a work place, it is an obvious fact that ideas and thoughts of two different personalities are
different. There is a very less probability of the chance that the thoughts of two people can be
similar. So, there is a huge requirement of the factors that can be used and involved in an
organisation so that all the employees can ensure about the fact that there are some rules while
working in an organisation and one needs to follow that. The person should be aware enough of
their roles and responsibilities so that they can focus on that more as compared to the small
things and factors that cause conflicts (Edelman, Mandle and Kudzma, 2013). There are always
some elements in a work place that only does the work of making conflicts and trying to indulge
people in those conflicts so that there can be a hustle like environment in the office and everyone
can stay disturbed. But these people are not aware of the fact that they are making their own loss
as it is not a topic of making fun but destroying their own life. There are some employees who
are just the opposite of this and tries to maintain a peaceful, happy and healthier environment in
the work place so that everyone can stay happy, thus focused on the work. This can help a
company in achieving higher success and innovation and that too at faster rates.
It is necessary to do because the success of the company is the success of the employees.
So, the employees and the staff members should focus on maintaining an environment in which
every member can be able to focus on work properly and also further help the company in
achieving the targets and goals (Strudwick and Day, 2014). An action plan can help in
professional development as it can provide a sort of direction on which employees can focus
upon and that only will take them to have a perfect and efficient professional development. This
development not only will help the employees in the work place but also in their future life
because it teaches some things that are actually valuable and can help a person anywhere in life.
Very well known and famous examples of this are being considered in the action plan such as
involving various ways of maximizing the confidence level. One can participate in various
activities such as sessions, workshops, conferences because these sources can act as a source of
platform for such people and once the person holds the courage to speak in front of people, it
automatically means a way to increase confidence. It is because when a person faces a huge

their motivation and confidence level, thus it can help in maintaining the focus of the person
towards a goal or target, which can prove beneficial for the person as well as for the company.
Also, a person can achieve professional development by improving skills as one can involve self
learning. Along with the guidance and learning that come from the management and the upper
employees, it is also necessary to learn something by self because that self learning can guide
ways and knowledge to a deeper level. That knowledge is real and can help the person
throughout their whole life.
CONCLUSION
It can be concluded that while working in an organisation, it is obvious enough to face
various conflicts and complications which can affect the whole productivity of the employees as
well as the organisation, so to avoid that, one can go through a number of activities that can help
in making a sort of improvement in their life and also include some ways which can lead to
professional development. Along with improving in work place, that development can also be
