healthcare. One of the ways include training provided to the staffs, IT could help surgeons

various ways by which the healthcare industries could use IT in an effective manner,
inventors of information technologies that are associated to home grounded health care,
usually have incomplete or inadequate direction related to product content, accessibility,
structure as well as usability in order to inform invention or development of the personal

Information technology is being used in almost every industry. The industry that has
been chosen for this particular assignment includes healthcare industry. The new that has
been chosen for this assignment presents some recent information technology security
breaches that had been occurred in the healthcare industry. It presents the fact that
healthcare had been a lucrative target for various cyber criminals in the year of 2017 with
the phishing emails, weaponized ransom ware, misconfigured cloud storage buckets which
dominated the entire year. These threats had continued in the year of 2018 as well. And it
was assumed that cyber criminals would get even more creative despite of the awareness
among the industry at the level of executive for the necessary funding that would be
required for the purpose of protecting themselves. Some information technology security
threats that are mentioned in this news include phishing attack breach 20,000 Catawba
valley patient records, data breaches had affected around 75,000 in federal ACA portal.
This assignment describes regarding the data breached caused in the industry of
healthcare in a detailed manner.

The healthcare industry requires the usage of information technology because with
the advancement of the technology has made it important to use information technology in
almost every operation carried out by the health care industry. There are various ways by
which the usage of information technology has been beneficial for the industry of
healthcare. One of the ways include training provided to the staffs, IT could help surgeons
in providing trainings in realistic as well as low risk simulated environment. Some
technologies in information technology such as virtual reality helps in maintaining physical
as well as mental health of the patients, it offers therapeutic potential as well as
rehabilitation for the acute pain along with anxiety disorders. Usage of information
technology helps in providing cost effective as well as efficient tool for the purpose of
treatment and teaching.
IT is important for survival of the business because information technology helps in
enhancing precision, control and flexibility, it comes with lesser complications like
infections along with resulting in less obvious because it is minimally invasive. Besides
these some technologies provide unique benefits to the industry. Some of the technologies
help professionals in detecting the disease of the patients and hence provide medication to
them according to their age, seriousness of the condition and some more factors,
information technology also helps in maintaining the record of the patients along with the
details of their medication. This helps people easy to access their data.
